^Emma's POV^ (A/N:WHAAAAT?)

My eyes slowly opened, and I saw a bright light. GG, I'm dead, I thought sarcastically. But as my vision adjusted, I realized that it was the light in the ceiling, I was in the hospital. "She's awake!" Someone shouted, and suddenly, seven different people were at my side. I heard so many voices and people were blurred, but I knew what was going on. They didn't think I'd be awake. After a few minutes, my vision was better and only one man stood by me. "Emma? Can you hear me?" The guys asked, and I nodded. "Hey there sir." I tried to smile and sit up as best I could. "Here, let me help." He said, and carefully propped me up so I was sitting straight. "Thank you." I said, and he sat back down on the stool next to my bed. "I'm doctor Stack." the man said, sticking his hand out. I weakly shook it. "Emma Cath, but I think you're well aware." I replied. "Yes, Miss Cath. Would you mind me explaining a little bit here, on your situation?" Doctor Stack asked. "Please do." I answered. He took a deep breath. "There isn't an easy way to say this. You lost a lot of blood, Emma. From the cuts on your arms, neck and face from the glass, to where the metal piece from the car went int your ribs. We... we don't have enough of your blood type to save you, for long. We gave you all we could... and from the looks of things.... you have about an hour before your body realizes it doesn't have enough. You would fall into a coma, with the life support." The doctor didn't even try to sugar coat it, which I guess I could respect. If you were dying, wouldn't you want them to tell you? "Is my mother here?" I asked, not knowing how to respond to the information I was just given. "Yes, she's in the waiting area with like... Twelve of your friends." He said, and I smiled a little. "Can I talk to my mom?" I asked, and he nodded. "I'll be right back. I have to tell her what I told you, and she'll be right in." Doctor Stack said, and left the room.

Well you only need the light when it's burning low, only miss the sun when it starts to snow, only know you love her when you let her go.

Only know you've been high when you're feeling low, only hate the road when you're missing home, only know you love her when you let her go.... And you let her go.

I sat with my own thoughts for a moment. I was going to die. Today. In an hour or so. I glanced at a clock. It was nine thirty. I wasn't even gonna try to protest. I lived an amazing life, a loving family -even if we weren't always together- and great friends; Oh no. They were all out there. I had to say goodbye to everyone. Mitch, Hope, Vic.... Brandon. Oh God, could I even handle that? Could I handle any of them?

Staring at the bottom of your glass, hoping one day you'll make a dream last, but dreams come slow, and they go so fast. You see her when you close your eyes, maybe one day you'll understand why. Everything you touch surely dies.

"Emma?" My mom opened the door and shut it again, and then dropped her bag as she ran to my side. "Hey mom." I smiled, and she let out a quiet sob. "I thought I lost you baby girl... Oh Rosie!" She squeezed my hand and used my nickname. My full name was Emma Rose Cath, and she has called me Rosie forever. "The doctor did tell you, right?" I said cautiously. "Y-Yes," she choked. "But at least I can say goodbye to you, my baby girl. I love you so much, you know that? Always. I always will, even when we are apart." She said, smiling through her tears. "I know, mom. I love you too." I smiled back. "You aren't... You aren't scared?" My mom asked. "No. I lived an amazing life, I couldn't have asked for anything more. I can't change it anyway, it's fate." I answered calmly. "You are an amazing little girl, you know that?" She said. "Thank mom, but can I ask you something?" I asked. "Anything, baby girl." "Will the others be okay? Will you, dad?" I said quietly, thinking of the others. "To be honest, no. None of us will be the same, and we will miss you like crazy. It will shake up the kids. But they can keep each other strong. Your father and I will manage." She answered truthfully. "Thanks, Mom." I smiled. "For everything, forever. I love you." I said, and she smiled. "I love you too, baby girl. Forever and always." she answered.

Well you see her when you fall asleep, but never to touch and never to keep, cause you loved her too much and you dived too deep.

"Mamma?" I asked softly. "Yeah?" She answered. "Can I say goodbye to the others... individually? Can you tell them all, and then send in... I don't know... Megan first?" I said, thinking of the first friend that came to my mind. "Of course, sweetie." She answered, and stood up. "Thank you mommy. After I talk to all of them... I'll have whoever's last ask you back in, okay?" I promised, and she nodded. "Meg will be in soon, love." She smiled and walked out the door.

Well you only need the light when it's burning low, only miss the sun when it starts to snow, only know you love her when you let her go.

Only know you've been high when you're feeling low, only hate the road when you're missing home, only know you love her when you let her go, oh, oh no.

Well you let her go.
