I was hugging Mickey, the bear which was given to me by Myco. I named after him. Hahaha. Seriously, this bear is too cute and fluffy. I wonder where and when did he buy this. We have been busy these past weeks because of intrams next month. We will be playing tune up games against some schools so we better prepare.
Yun nga. Yakap-yakap ko si Mickey. I can't sleep without him na. Sanay na akong lagi siyang kayakap kapag natutulog or kahit nandito lang ako sa kwarto. Minsan nga nagseselos na si Myco. Dapat yung nagbigay yung niyayakap ko. Well, mas fluffy si Mickey kaysa sa kanya.
Here I am, video calling with my childhood best friend, Amanda! Kaklase ko siya nung elementary pero nagtransfer siya so nagkahiwalay kami. Buti na lang, andyan si Ella and we became best friends! Best friend ko pa rin naman si Amanda. There are two types of best friends naman eh. Yung una, malayo sa'yo pero you know you're still best friends pa rin, which is Amanda. Yung pangalawa, yung nakukuwentuhan mo ng everything which is Ella.
"Dendeeeeeeeeen!" She shouted at me. Kukang na lang ipasok niya yung ulo niya sa screen. How funny.
"Maaaaaands! I miss you! It's been 5 years na since we last met!" Sabi ko. Graduation na nung grade 6 yung huli naming pagkikita. Video calls na lang talaga kami nakakapag-usap.
She's a model now! Buti na kang na-achieve na niya dreams niya! Pangarap ko kasing maging designer tapos siya yung model ko. Back then, ako yung nag-aayos ng mga damit na susuotin niya and now, malapit nang magkatotoo yung sa akin! Paris!
"Yeah! Dapat pala 1st sem pa lang ako nagtransfer sa school mo!" Amanda said. Ha? Bakit?
"Ha?" Taka kong tanong sa kanya.
"Kasi ngayong 2nd sem, I transferred sa school mo. Tapos too late, you're in Paris na pala! Congratulations! It's your dream, right?" Amanda asked. Hala! Sayang! Edi sana magkasama na kami. Pero on the other hand, okay na nandito ako. Free from lies and deception!
"Oh. Kamusta naman yung dati kong school?" I asked. I kinda miss that kahit na one semester lang ako nag-stay. When I say I miss that, bumabalik na naman siya. For the days I stayed there, siya yung kasama ko. Leche lang.
"It was incredibly awesome! I joined the volleyball team! I miss playing na kasi. Ang saya dito! Ang babait ng mga tao. As in! Kaso ang pangit lang ng second day ko. Nakakahiya!" Amanda said and covered her face. Ha? Bakit kaya? Nabully kaya siya? Napagtripan?
"Anong nangyari ba?" I asked. Well, Amanda is beautiful too. She can't be bullied. Hindi naman siguro siya pagttripan kasi she's popular. She's seen on billboards and magazines.
"Nung second day ko, I was so tired. Ang init pa nung araw na yun! Pagod na pagod ako super. Nung gabi before nun, nagtraining ako tapos may shoot pa ako kaya kinabukasan, hinimatay ako in the middle of the field, in the middle of the crowd din! Nakakahiya talaga!" Amanda said, and swear, namumula siya ngayon. How cute!
"Woah! Grabe ka! Eh ano ng nangyari sa'yo? Teka, ba't nasa crowd ka nun? Anong meron?" I asked. It was second day so tapos na yung welcome back chuchu.
"Well, there was this girl...talking to our recruiter. Tapos ayun, pinalilibutan na siya ng mga tao. I asked a girl nga kung anong meron kasi they've been staring at her since she arrived with her black motorcycle. Yun pala yung campus crush nila. Swear, ka-campus campus crush naman yung itsura niya and yung style niya. She was wearing a black leather jacket, white t-shirt, and black jeans that time. Everyhting about her screamed black hahaha. Basta! She was hot. Seryoso. She looks like Daniel Padilla. To think na ganun din yung pormahan niya hahaha. The last thing I remembered, I fainted after she waved at my direction. Nakwento nung recruiter namin na siya pala yung nagbuhat sa akin. Tapos after talaga nung class niya, pinuntahan niya ako. How sweet di ba? Ayun pala, she's my teammate. Siya yung bago sa amin. So, yun we got close. " Amanda said while kinikilig.
