Chapter 11: Get Her Back

Alyssa deepened the kiss while laying Den on her bed. Her hands were all around Den's body. Touching any part her hands could touch. Caressing her like she's a fragile glass.

Den felt the bolt inside here body cracking up. Iba ang sensasyon na binibigay ng mga hawak ni Ly sa kanya. She let go of Ly's lips and kissed her neck.

"Den..." Tawag ni Ly sa kanya. Den looked at Ly whose eyes were closed. She continued on planting wet kisses on Ly's neck.

"Oh fuck..Den." Ly muttered. Ramdam ni Den ang init ng katawan ni Alyssa. Mainit pa rin ito dahil nga may sakit pa rin siya. Pero iba ang init na nararamdaman ni Ly.

Ly got back to her senses when she heard Den's phone ringing samantalang si Den ay patuloy lang sa paghahalik sa kanya.

"Oh, Den, stop." Sabi ni Ly at dahan-dahang inilayo muna si Den sa katawan niya.

"What---"

"Oh! Don't be mad! Your phone is ringing!" Sabi ni Ly nang mapansin niyang masama na ang titig sa kanya ni Den. Sino ba kasi yung tumawag? Sinisira yung moment ng dalawa eh!

Just then, Den realized that her phone was really ringing.

She immediately got it and answered the call without looking who's the caller.

She was about to shout to whoever the caller was when she heard that familiar voice.

"Hello, my future doctor!" Her dad said. She looked at the screen to check if it was really her father.

"Oh, dad! Hello." Gulat na bati niya. She sat up straight as if kaharap niya yjng daddy niya. Sinamaan niya ng tingin si Ly dahil tahimik itong natatawa sa reaksyon ni Den.

"Oh? Ba't parang gulat na gulat ka?" Her dad asked. Napabigla kasi yung sagot niya kanina.

"Nothing, dad! Why did you call po?" Mas mahinahong sabi ni Den.

"Ara's dad texted me. Ara's sick. Can my future doctor take care of her?" Parang batang tanong ng ama niya sa kanya. Kumunot naman ang noo niya.

"Dad, you know we're over." Mahinang sabi ni Den. She heard a knock from outside. May kumakatok sa apartment ni Ly. Ly mouthed that she will just gonna check who's outside. Den nodded like she's giving Ly her permission.

Ly stood up and gave Den a peck on her lips. Namula siya sa ginawa nito pero hindi naman iyon napansin ni Ly dahil dumiretso na siya sa labas.

"Den, still there?" Her dad asked kaya napabalik siya sa ulirat.

"Oh dad, yes! What were you talking about?" Tanong ni Den.

"Ara has no company. Mag-isa lang siya dun sa bahay nila. Can you go there and take care of her? Best friends pa rin naman kayo." Sabi ng dad niya. She rolled her eyes. Her dad used that best friend line again on her.

"Dad, I have classes." She reasoned out.

"Cut classes then."

"Dad! I can't, okay? Anyway, she got herself a girlfriend, dad. May mag-aalaga dun." She said. She hates lying to her dad pero kailangan niyang gawin yun. Her dad's pushing her to be with Ara everytime. Kahit pa na alam nitong wala na sila.

"Fine." Her dad groaned. Mabuti na lang he gave up on forcing to take care of her ex-girlfriend.

"Bye, dad." She said.

"Bye, Den. Study hard, okay?" Sabi ng tatay niya. Na-guilty naman siya. She cut classes at nandito siya sa apartment, kissing a girl she's just known for a month.
