PHONE CALLS

Esther's pov

Sunrays falls on my face. The room is new. I looked around. Then I remembered about last night. There is a large arm around me. It was Aaron's. He pulled me into his body. I was literally glued to his body. It was like a dream. I was in the hands of Aaron hilster. It looks like a perfect family. But.

I didn't wait long. The time shows 8 a.m. I stood on the bed and ran down without waiting for him.

"Ms., are you leaving? ", a maid who prepared dinner for us last night asked.
"Yes", I said hurriedly.
"Don't wait for breakfast?" , she asked another question.
" No. I am in a hurry ", I didn't waste a second there. If I do, she might call Aaron.

I reached the house in no time. Thankfully, Richard and Hulks are not home. It was only Sara and Lucy. I walked into my room without acknowledging them, but Lucy called me. She has eyes everywhere.

"Where were you? ", Lucy asked.
"Did you already have a boyfriend here? Were you at his house last night? ", Lucy added. I should admit that she is brilliant.
"Mom, don't be silly", Sara laughed. What ? I am not that bad, or how did Mr. Hilster invite me?

I didn't wait for their encounter to end. The night was awesome. I took a shower and fell on the bed.

My phone ringed.

"Hello", I answered the call. Without looking at the name,
"You left me on the bed ", he complained. I understood who it was.
"You were sleeping peacefully. So I thought, not to wake you up", I answered. Honestly, I escaped from his grip.
"I was sleeping peacefully because you were in my arms,", he said. Wow, is this the same line he uses on every girl he sleeps with?

"Oh, you can talk sweetly ", I asked. He laughed through the phone. His laughter made me smile.
"I miss you ", he said. It caught me off guard. What the hell is this man talking about?

"What? ", I asked, not believing his words.
"I miss you; I miss your smell; I miss your body in my arms ", he explained. That's it. This womanizer wants the next round.
"I am sorry. There is no free time for me,", I said, not interested.
"If it is so, then you don't need the chain, right? ", he asked. I touched my neck. No, the chain was not there.
"Where is it? ", I asked, standing on the bed.
"Now you became interested ", he asked. This jerk.
"Tell me, Aaron. Is it with you? ", I am literally begging.
"Yeah, it is ", he answered. It might fall when I come hastily.
"Okay, then I will come to take it ", I said.
"No, I am busy", he said. Now he is playing.
"Aaron, please ", I said.
"Please, what? ", he asked.
"Please give it back to me", I begged.
"This is too important for you, right?" he stated.
"Aaron!" I called.

He hung up the call with a laugh. Is he not going to give it to me? It would be more simple to take it from Sara. Now how am I going to get it?

I was thinking and walking through the hall. How do I get it?

Ouch!!! I accidentally hit with Sara. She was on the phone, and I was thinking about the chain.

"Watch where you going? ", Sara shouted as she rubbed her head.
"You should watch ", I shouted back at her.
"Esther, I am already mad. Don't make it worse", she said.
"Or what ", I retorted.
"Esther!!!" She yelled at me.
"Sara!", I mimicked the way she acted.

"What are you two fighting? ", it was Lucy.
"What happened, Sara? ", she asked to her sweet pumpkin.
"Mom, I have been trying to call Aaron since morning, but he isn't picking up my phone. And now she is yelling at me ", she complained to her mom.

"Sara, Aaron is a businessman. He will be in meetings. You have to adjust it", she consoles her daughter.
"Mom, but his phone is engaged now, but then why is he not picking up my calls", she was all crying. I want to say it was me whom he is calling. We talked for a while. He called me because he didn't see me when he woke up.

"What are you laughing at? ", Lucy asked me. I was laughing at her problems.
"Me?" I asked.
"I am not laughing. You must check your eyes, Lucy." My accusation made Lucy mad.

I walked back to my room. I sat in the chair and started my office work. I miss that atmosphere. It was fun. I don't have to worry about anything; moreover, there are people who always support me and know me well.

My phone rang.

"Es", I heard it.
"Wil", I answered.
"How are you, Wil? ", I asked to him. I was thinking about him, then he called me.
"I am fine. Did you forget about me?" He asked.
"Wil, how can I forget you? You are my love ", I answered to him with a smile.
"You are only talking,", he said sadly. I can't hold my laughter.
"Wil, you are my heart ", I sweetly said. Wil is the most important person in my life.
"Really? ", he asked sarcastically.
"Where is Joy?" I asked.
"Went to the market," he answered.
"Ohh", I hummed.
"So you love me?" He confirmed it.
"Yeah, what? Are you doubting me ", I asked.
"Then come back soon. You know not only me, but many people miss you," he said. Why he said that.

"What do you mean? ", I asked.
"You know, you haven't stayed away too long", he said. He might be missing me like I miss him.

We chatted for a while, but I felt something strange. His behavior is weird. He was holding back something. I asked for it, but he dismissed it. I asked for a video call, but he said there were range issues. It was new. Did he forget about me? No way.

I am just overthinking. Maybe I miss him too much. That's why I have this kind of feeling.
