Esther's POV

I opened the restaurant door. Sara was sitting in the restaurant calmly. I walked towards her. She motioned for me to sit.
I sat in front of her.

"Why did you want to see me? ", I asked her.
"I thought you were a naive girl. But you changed a lot", she said, looking into my eyes.
"You came here to take revenge on me", she asked. So Sara found it was me.

"What do you think? If you slept with Aaron, He will choose you over me,", she shouted.

"Sara, stop", I said calmly. We already know he canceled the marriage.

"Why should I? You are so cheap ", her nose turned red.
"I did what you did to me years ago,", I replied to her question. I have faced a lot because of her. I just wanted her to feel a little bit of it.

She looked behind me. Then her whole expression changed.
" Esther I am your sister. I never thought you were like this ", she cried. I mean, tears came from her eyes.

I was shocked by her change.
"If you wanted to take revenge on me, you could do anything. But why did you use Aaron in this?" She said it louder. I am standing in front of her, but her voice is loud.
"He was a tool for you ", she cried.

Then a shadow covered me. It was Aaron. No way.

"Aaron, it was her in your room ", she asked him.
"But she was just using you for her revenge ", she continued.
"Revenge? ", he asked. He was not looking at me.
"She had a crush in the past, but the guy proposed me over her", Sara concluded.
"No", I defended.
"His name was Tommy", she cried in his arm.
"Is it true?" , he asked me.
I didn't answer him. Tommy was not my crush. He was my boyfriend, but she took him.

Aaron walked out of the restaurant. I ran after him.
"Aaron, stop", I said. But he didn't wait for me.
Finally, I pulled his hand to stop him.

"Aaron, hear me first ", I said.
"Tell me what she said is wrong. You were not using me", he said in a broken voice. I was using him, but I never expected it would turn out like this. Even more, I developed feelings for him.

"Aaron, but just," I started.
"So whatever you did was all a part of your plan. And I am a fool to fall for it", his demeanor changed.
"Aaron, please ", I was begging him.
" What? Are you sad because your plan failed? ", Aaron asked.
"Aaron, wait, hear me", but he took the car and drove.

I stayed there, looking at his disappearing image. I feel my heart breaking. Why is it hurting me too much?

"Esther." It was Sara. I don't want to turn.
"What do you want? ", I asked her.
"Your fate is this, Esther,", she said.
"No", I can't bear the pain.

"No one can love you. You don't deserve love", she said. I feel it now.
"What did you think? Aaron will take you. I have a dad, a mom, and a status", she said.

"I too have dad and mom ", I argued.
"Believe me, Esther, soon they will also leave you ", she said, laughing at me.
"No", I don't want it to happen.
"Come on, Esther, you want to try", she said, with a hidden meaning. I don't want her to hurt them.

It scares me. I only have my family. I don't take risks like that.

"Why do you hate me, Sara? I always treated you as my sister ", I said to her.
"Because you had a dad and brothers, which I didn't have,", she yelled at my face.

"You had a mom ", I said. I don't have a mom, and she doesn't have a dad.
"People without money are worth less", she said.

"I forgot one thing. Esther, our engagement is on the same date as we planned before. You should be there", she invited me.

No, it can't be possible.

She said bye and walked off.

I sat in my room. Aaron is not taking my calls. He must be mad at me.

"What happened to my dear?" Wil asked.
"Nothing", I answered. He looked at my phone. I have been trying to call Aaron for hours.
"What's with Mr. Aaron? ", he asked.
"He found everything," I said. Wil has a shocked expression.
"Now he hates me the most ", I added.
"And? ", he asked.
"The engagement is on the same date", I answered.
"Are you sad because he hates you, or you can't fulfill your revenge?" he asked.

"These two are hurting me ", I replied to him.
"Find which hurts you the most, "he said.

I lay on my bed. Aaron's indifference is hurting me too much. I should ask his forgiveness.

Next day

I walked into his office. I went directly to his room this time, and the receptionist didn't stop me.

Aaron was sitting there.

"Aaron ", I called his name to get his attention.
"I am busy ", he told me in one line.
"You are hurting me, Aaron ", I said.
"It hurts you. Then what should I describe about my situation ", he asked.

He was not looking at me. He is avoiding me. There is no need for me to stand there like a statue. I walked out of the room, but he called me.
"You know about mine and Sara's engagement. You should be there", he ordered.
"You don't love her, Aaron,", I reminded him.
"Still, she doesn't use me", he said coldly.

"Is that what you want? ", I asked.
"Yes," he replied.

I walked back. If it is going to happen like this, then okay. I have to endure this. I can't let her hurt my family.

Now I understand that only my family loves me.
