Third POV
Aaron was running in search of his Esther. Samuel and Wil were also on the mission.
Elijah and Richard were searching for Sara and Lucy. They have no other relatives. Richard called Lucy's friends, but she was not there. They need to find the truth.
Aaron tracked Esther's phone location. But now it was switched off. He searched the nearby places of the last location.
There was a closed building. The building work is not completed. There is no other place to hide.
Aaron went there. Other people followed his actions. There was she.
Esther was tied to a chair.
"Esther ", Aaron cried. Finally, he found her.
"You guys took too much time ", they heard a voice. It was Sara. She came in front of them.
Aaron walked to Esther's side. But Sara aimed a gun at him. He didn't stop.
"Oh. You will stop only if I point it at her", she said, aiming the gun at Esther. Esther looked very tried.
"No, Sara, don't do it ", Aaron said.
She looked at others. They are all looking at Esther.
"Dad," , she called Richard in a dangerous voice. Now he was scared of her. She was this evil person who was ready to aim a gun at him.
"Sara, you really did these things,", Richard was broken. He was a fool to not believe his own daughter. He only gave her tears. This time, he called her to be here and put her in this situation.
"We were living happily, right? Then why does she have to come? Why does she have to take you from me", Sara asked.
Sara was not in the right mind. She will do anything now.
" No. You are lying," was Eric's voice. He can't believe this. Even though others started to suspect them. He didn't even think about this. For him, Sara and Lucy were innocent.
"You are a fool, Eric ", she said to him. Eric was the one who opened the door. He helped them, but it was to teach Esther a lesson. But this was not his plan.
"Sara, leave her", Eric said to him. Now he understood how foolish he was.
She laughed.
"Leave her, Sara", Elijah shouted. He wants to protect his sister.
"Look, now you all took her side ", she was laughing.
" Sara. Leave my daughter ", Richard said.
"If dad says so, I will do it. I am a good girl ", she told to Esther.
"Go girl ", Sara pulled Esther to stand. She didn't understand it.
"Come on, Esther ", Samuel called her.
"Come here", Wil and Aaron said, opening their arms.
Esther stood up from the chair and walked towards her family.
One step, two steps.
"Esther",
Esther stopped in her tracks. It scared her. The voice she hasn't heard for a long time The same voice haunts her every night. It was him. Her body froze.
"Esther, look at me",
She turned. It was zack. Her face was full of fear.
"This gift is always yours", Sara said to Zack,pointing at Esther. He has an evil smile on his face.
Many years before, Lucy gave Esther to him. He was having fun with her. Her cries always made him happy. But one day she escaped from his grip. After that, he didn't find her. Then, again, he got her back.
"Esther, come here", Samuel was crying. If he moves one step forward, Sara will shoot her.
Esther took a step backward and fell to the ground.
"Esther ", mom cried, but Esther could only hear his laugh. He walked forward towards her. The past memories came to her mind. The small Esther's cries filled her ears.
"You grow up a lot, baby", he smiled at her.
"I really missed having fun with you", he said, walking towards her.
"No, don't come here ", she begged him.
"You still say the same line", he laughed.
She wanted to be strong but was scared of him.
"Esther, you are strong, you can do it", Aaron supported her. They can't go to her. She has to stand up for herself.
"Yes, remember once you kicked a woman who beat her small child ", Wil said the moment she showed her bravery.
"And here, you were in the police station because you pushed a guy who broke his nose", Samuel joined.
"Yeah, Esther. I know how strong you are. Don't let him win. You got this, my girl", Aaron continued.
She heard their words, but the guy was still walking. He knelt in front of her. He pinched her chin. It was painful.
"Esther ", he said, hearing their voices.
The guy inches towards her.
Her hand searched for something. It stuck on a rod. She held it tightly in her hand, and without thinking, she hit him with it.
Blood splashed on her face. The guy fell in front of her. Esther screamed loudly.
Ahhhh!!!!!!!!
The family has a relaxed face. But Esther was in another state. Her all-time fear is in front of her. She overcame him.
"You are useless. Now I know how to deal with her", Sara said to Zack, who was unconscious.
"Sara, no", Richard said.
"Why, dad? You once sent her off. This time you are sending her off for forever ", she roared at Richard.
"No, Sara,", Elijah said, holding his hands.
"Suddenly you become her loving brother Elijah ", she mocked at him.
"I was her loving brother. If you were not in the picture, we would be an amazing family ", he said.
"Don't blame me. You didn't believe her. That is not my problem ", she spit the truth.
Sara didn't wait long. Her life is spoiled, so she wanted to destroy Esther and let others live in its pain.
She took the gun and aimed at Esther.
