Sara fired.

Aaron ran to Esther's side. Sara missed her aim. The bullet doesn't hit Esther.

Esther was covered by someone else.

She shot Lucy.

Mommm!!!!! , Sara screamed

She ran to Lucy.
"Mom, why did you come in between Esther and me?", Sara cried to her mom. The blood was flowing from Lucy's body.

"Stop these all, Sara. We have done much," Lucy said, trying hard to breathe. Her voice is strained.

"Mom, why are you taking her side now? You are my mom ", Sara was getting angry for losing the only person by her side.

"Yes, I am your mom. But she was always my daughter. She considered me as her mom. When I did all these, she still hoped for my love", Lucy said. She remembered what Esther said on dinner night. Her body became light-weighted. The vision was blurred.

"Mom.. Mom... ", Sara said, shaking Lucy's body. But it was not reacting.

Aaron slowly pulled Esther to his side. Sara was distracted by Lucy, then she suddenly looked at Esther.

"You are the reason for this ", and she tried to push Esther, but Aaron circled her.

STOP IT!!!!!

Police officers came to the scene.

He has already informed the police. They arrested Sara for the murder and took Zack for medical treatment.

Aaron looked at Esther. She fainted in front of them.

He took her to the hospital immediately.

Aaron, Samuel, Prim, Wil, Joy, Richard, Elijah, and Eric are all standing outside the hospital ward. Esther was lucky to be saved from the bullet. Police confirmed Lucy's death.

The doctor came outside.
"How is Esther? ", everyone asked at the same time. The doctor looked surprised.
"She is fine. Just tired," the doctor answered.
"Can we see her", Aaron asked.
"We will change her to a room. You can see her there, but don't disturb her, "the doctor said, walking away from them.

The nurse came outside for them.
"Esther is changed to a room. The closely related ones can stay there, "the nurse announced, looking at the number of people standing there. She went to Esther's side.

"Thank you, Samuel. You did a lot of things for Esther ", Richard said to Samuel.
Samuel was happy that Esther was fine and that everyone understood her innocence.

"So, Samuel, now we can take care of her", Richard said, which shocked Samuel.

"What? ", Wil shouted. Prim, Joy, Samuel, and even Aaron were surprised by these words.
"She is my daughter. I am taking her from this hospital, and she is living with us", Richard explained to them.

"Yep, she is my sister. I appreciate that you took care of her. But now we are here for it", Elijah said.

"No way", Wil was burning with these words.
"She is our blood. We had some misunderstandings, but it was all solved, so don't make a problem here", Eric said.

"She was your daughter and sister, but it took these years for you all to understand it ", Wil shouted at them.
"Willie, she is our blood. Blood is thicker than water", Elijah said. He wanted to be a brother for her.

"You guys better leave." Eric gets louder and louder.

"Richard, Esther is also my daughter. The only difference between us is the so-called blood relationship you are referring to. One day, you came and asked me to leave her life. No, I can't do that", Samuel said calmly.

"I know, but you have to understand that you all spend your time with her. Now let us play a role in her life", Richard asked.

"That is because of you. She was almost dead when we got her. This is her second life. This is her dad and mom, and we are her brothers ", Wil pointed at each of the members.

They are shouting at each other.

"Stop it. This is a hospital ", Aaron told the two families.
"Let Esther choose whom she wants ", Aaron said.

Both families need her.

"She will choose us. You could provide her with shelter. But she came here for us. For our love. She spends these days with us only to show her love for her original family", Eric said.

This word broke the other parties.

"Who is getting inside ", the nurse asked. Aaron was eager to get in.

" We. We are her real family ", Richard said, looking at Samuel and walking behind Aaron.

"How are you, Esther? ", Aaron asked her. She sat up on the bed. There is a small cut on her forehead and some scratches on her knees.

"I am fine ", Esther answered to Aaron. She looked around. But she can't find her dad and mom. She remembers them at the crime scene. Are they alright? She starts to get worried.

"Where is my dad, Aaron? ", she asked. Richard was there, but she was looking for Samuel.

Aaron knew who she wanted. He walked outside the room and invited the family she loves inside with a smile.

"Dad, mom", she cried. Samuel also has tears.
"My baby is alright." Prim wiped the tears.
"Mom, I hit him. I beat the guy." She cried in her mom's arms.

"Now I should take a fighting lesson to escape from you", Wil was crying, but he managed to put a smile on her face.

"You are fine and have become stronger." Joy hugged her.

Richard, Eric, and Elijah felt alone in the room. Esther didn't even look in their direction. They realized whom she chose. Without disturbing their family moment, they walked out.

"Dad, come outside ", Wil called his dad. Samuel was busy with his daughter.
" Why? I am staying with my princess", Samuel said to him.
"Hey, give some space to the man who took her to the hospital and is chanting her name nonstop ", Wil laughed.

Everyone looked at Aaron. Suddenly, the man got all red.

"What? ", Esther was surprised. This man once said he was not scared of anything, and now
"Ask yourself. We will go and grab something to eat", Wil already left the room.

Others are smiling at this new couple.

"Finally, I can sit with you", Aaron sighed.
"Is it true?", she asked. He knows what she is asking.
"Well, my two kisses are pending ", he replied.
She threw the paper at him.

"Don't", he dodged from it.

"Yes, it is true. I don't remember when I last prayed. For you, I really can't control myself. I don't know what I did from the moment I heard of your missing to this minute ", he said, sitting on the bed with her.

"I can't lose you, Esther ", he said, kissing her hand.
"Then don't tell me that I am a burden in the future," she said.
"Never", he said, but then his eyes widened. Future?.  Does she have a future with me? Aaron thought.

"Is that a yes", he asked with full of hope.
She gave her smile as the answer.
