Esther's POV

I looked at the door. Sara was there, standing with a smirk. Behind her is my whole bloody family. Wow, so this was her plan. It was going well because they all have an ugly expression on their faces.

I walked downstairs, not caring about the people in front of me.
"Esther, why are you doing this to me? Why did you seduce my fiance ", she cried.

"What? " Eric asked unbelievably.

She cried, waiting to ask again.

"Tell me what?" Eric repeated.

"She came here not for her sister's marriage but to spoil it. She came to seduce Aaron.", Sara is a pro-drama queen.

Elijah ran towards me and stood in front of me.

"Is that true", he asked. I looked behind me, and all the expressions were pretty similar, hate. They are waiting for my answer.

"Yes", I answered. I don't want to lie anymore. I don't want any good girl titles.

I covered my left cheek. Richard slapped me. I looked at the others. No one took my side.

"You slapped me!" I shouted at the man.

"You were so cheap, Esther ", he said. I feel like it was the same night. The same night that led me out of this house So history repeats.

I saw Aaron coming from my room. Richard pulled me away from him. So it was my mistake. He still wants Aaron as his son-in-law.

"Leave me, Richard ", I said coldly. He stopped at the track.
"How dare you slap me? Who gave you permission? ", I questioned him.

"I am your dad", he said.
"No, you are not. If you were my dad, you would never kick me out of this house for no reason", I said with a laugh.

"No reason. You tried to kill Sara," Eric said. The same line.
" Me? I didn't. It was your second wife's and daughter's plan", I said, not loudly but clearly.

Richard looked at Lucy, she was not prepared for this outburst. Sara's smile faded.

"What? ", Elijah can't believe his ears.
"You know why she did it. Because your wife has an affair with Tommy's dad, and I found it on that day. She asked me to shut up, but I was going to reveal this. So she put me in the trap", I explained. There is no need to explain, but they have to see that the one they love is worth less.

"No,", Lucy said. Her voice is stuttering. I looked at Tommy. He looks like he understood everything. Well, his dad is no more.

"You sent me to study? ", I asked Richard. He was confused.
"You send me into the hands of an abuser. "An eleven-year-old girl to that abuser", I gave a bitter laugh.

"Didn't your wife tell you what he did to me? She once came to see me," I asked Richard.

"Well, let me tell you. The man broke my bones every day. He cut my flesh. Set me to sleep on the cold floor. I have to sleep with new cuts on my body, and every night he came to my room... ", that broke me. Tears started to roll. I never showed my tears to them. I adjusted everything. But those harsh memories are still raw.

Aaron jumped to my side.
"Don't," I said, moving away from him. There is disappointment in his face.

"I can't sleep in a dark room. I am scared of new people." The tears are heated waves.

"The tattoos are to cover the scars," I said.

"Esther ", Richard called me.
"Don't call me that. I have waited for it way too long. I needed it that time, not now." I don't want his sympathy.

"I loved you all, but you guys never wanted me. ", I tried to stop my tears.

"Yes, I am a stupid, naive girl because I still thought you loved me. But now that I accepted the truth", I wiped the tears.

"Esther", Elijah,came forward to hold me, but I dodged away.
"What have you asked? I am jealous of Sara. Yes, I was. When we were kids, but not now,", I said to him, making him realize

"You never wanted me, Richard ", I finally said to him.
"No baby", Tears are rolling from his eyes.

" No? You celebrated her birthday in front of me, do any of you know my birthday? ", I asked. The people who claim to be my family were not opening their mouths.

"Esther, calm down, "Tommy said.

I went to Lucy's side.

"I still loved you, Lucy. I wanted you to love me like my mom would love me if she were alive ", I said to her. She looked at the other side.

Next, I looked at Aaron. He has a worried expression. No, man, I am alright.

"Mr. Hilster, I admit that I used you. I considered you just as a weapon, but I apologized for it. Now there is no need for me to hear your insult ", I said, facing him.

"Esther ", he called me. Pain was evident in his voice.

"Congratulations for your wedding, Sara and Aaron Hilster.You are a family. A great family, but I want to say one thing, I hate you all. I have faced a lot in this life, but I never said this to your face. Now I am saying,I hate you," I said, clapping my hands.

"Esther, where are you going? ", Richard asked me.

" Me? To my real family ", I walked to my car.

"Esther, wait ", I heard the calling, but I didn't stop.

"Esther, I will drop you," Tommy said.

"No thanks, I said as I drove to my house.

I saw Dad on his phone.

I ran to his arm. He looked at my messy face. I cried in his arms. He didn't ask me anything. He let my sorrows all out.

We sat there for a long time. My mom, Wil, and Joy looked at me but didn't utter a word. I wanted the silence.

After a long time, I went to my room. Wil accompanied me.

"Do you need anything ", he asked me.
"No,", I said. My phone was ringing nonstop. I gave it to him.
"Don't answer their calls, and I don't want to see anyone ", I commanded, and he replied yes.

He sat in the room.

"Wil, go and sleep?" I said to him.
"I will go when you fall asleep," he told me.
"Just go, man. I am alright ", I pushed him to go to his bed.

"Wil, let's go back to our place ", I said to him when he was walking to his bedroom.
"Are you sure? ", he asked in my face.

Is there any reason for me to stay here? Sara is their princess. I am happy with these people. This is my family; I want these people only.
