The door opened. The three of us jumped back screaming, thinking it was a dinosaur. But it was only the dingus laughing SO much, "Gotcha!"
"Kenji!"
"Not funny, dude!"
"You scared us to—"
"I know. It was awesome," Kenji said between giggles, and he began to burst out more, "You should've seen your faces!"
Ben was watching this nearby, "The height of comedy. I'm gonna go back to shore," he informs everyone, "Me and Bumpy will meet you at the dock."
Yaz asked, "So I guess the one question is, who's driving the boat?"
Kenji answered it for her, "You mean who's dad's got a yacht club membership, and JUST found this killer hat. Captain Kenji at your service." He climbs up the ladder and makes his way to the driving room. I climb up too, just to make sure he won't mess anything up. He started the boat and started driving to the dock they just jumped off of to swim toward the boat.
I reminded him, "Careful. Hold up, hold up, HOLD UP!" He crashed the yacht at the dock. It wasn't that bad. There was probably only one scratch.
Kenji said enthusiastically, "Not a bad parking job if I say so myself. And I will."
I don't share the enthusiasm, "You don't PARK a boat, dingus. You DOCK it."
"You sure you wanna sass the captain?" Kenji asks bringing his enthusiasm back, "It's a long swim home." I frown at him.
"It's getting late, we should rest up here," Darius advises, "We'll look around and scavenge for supplies in the morning."
Kenji doesn't agree, "Hold up, pump the brakes, yo. Look around. We have swimsuits, and a freaking boat at our convenience, if THAT doesn't scream 'yacht party' I don't know what does."
We agreed. After working for who knows how long on the island, we DO deserve some fun even if it's just for one evening. Ben and Yaz jumped off of the boat to go swim in the ocean. Sammy was looking through the party supplies that were all contained in a box. Meanwhile, Darius, Brooklyn, and I were sitting on the deck. Brooklyn said, "We're not just leaving the island. We're leaving in style."
Darius agreed, "Gotta admit, I AM loving this yacht life."
"But there is still ONE more thing we need to do before we get home," I reminded, "Prank Kenji back for scaring us." The other two teens seemed to like that idea.
"Oh you know I'm down for that," the pink haired teen claimed, proudly.

HorrorI have written this story before. But over time, I have become a better author, so I will be rewriting this story in a better way. This is all from my perspective as I made myself as one of the characters.
