Darius and I were packing supplies back at camp. While doing so, Darius found a picture that he carried with him, with him and his dad. He started getting emotional, until Kenji climbed up the ladder, "We've only got twelve hours left until the boat is ship-shape but if you ask me, I think it's perfectly fine. I REALLY wanted to poke it, but I didn't. Restraint, yo." He notices Darius's face, "Hey man. What's wrong?"
This time, Darius answered, "Hm? Oh nothing. I was REALLY hoping to find a Gallimimus for my...book but, never got around to it."
"Go now," Kenji tells him, "Brooklyn and Sammy are off investigating a mystery, Yaz is on a run, and Ben's probably with Bumpy, being weird."
Darius insisted on it, "Nah. I gotta pack supplies for the journey."
Kenji volunteered into something we never thought he would do, "I'll do it for you."
I questioned what he said, "YOU? Seriously? And it's a lot to do, and knowing you, you would PROBABLY just give up after five minutes."
Kenji told us, "Like I always say. The more to do the more 'I got this.'"
Darius wasn't so sure, "Never really heard you say that our entire time here, but IF you're REALLY SURE—"
"Dude, positive. Go find your Galileo," Kenji encouraged him.
"Maybe I should come with you?" I asked, "It's not really safe for you to go out alone."
"Sure. And thanks for being such a team player, Kenj! Make sure you pack everything we need, food, water, and we'll be on Channel Six in case of an emergency!"
Kenji asked, "An emergency for packing supplies? Bro, I said I got this."
"You are officially in charge! See ya!" I yelled. I kind of regretted it, though.
Kenji heard what I said, "In charge. In charge? Kenji is in charge!" Then he randomly began chanting, "Kenji is in charge. Kenji is in charge. Kenji is in charge. K-K-K-Kenji is in charge—"
"What is going on?" Ben's voice was heard from the back. Kenji turned around and found the boy, who looked like he was born in the jungle, behind him.
He answered, "I need you to get...uh...toilet paper."
Ben questions, "Toilet paper. Seriously?"
"We MIGHT need that for the trip and, I'm in charge."
They locked eyes for a second. Then, Ben interrupted the eye lock and said, "Sure." He walked down to get the item that Kenji asked for.
Kenji again began chanting, "Kenji is in charge. Kenji is in charge. Ben is not in charge, Kenji is in charge."
Out there somewhere, me and Darius were by a rock, while the dino-nerd was taking notes on the world's fastest dinosaur. One of them even came close. I tried moving away, slowly, so Darius can have his moment with the herbivore, alone. But that's when—
*skkkkkrt "Captain Kenj to...Dariusaurus."
I asked Darius, "Did you SERIOUSLY agree for THAT to be your codename?"
Darius ignored me and answered the walkie talkie, "Go for Dariusaurus." I scoffed.
"Don't wanna give anything away," Kenji began, "but I did something and it was FLAWLESS."
"I'm very happy to hear that," Darius commented.
Kenji assured, "I will do you proud."
I took the walkie talkie and said, "Kenji, you actually have to DO the stuff and not just TALK about it, in order to do me proud." Kenji didn't say anything for a few seconds. "Kenji..."

HorrorI have written this story before. But over time, I have become a better author, so I will be rewriting this story in a better way. This is all from my perspective as I made myself as one of the characters.
