Camp Cretaceous: Its death time (rewritten)

25. Introduction

Brooklyn and Sammy were at the "under construction" area that Sammy mentioned. Brooklyn commented, "It doesn't really look under construction, does it?" Sammy agreed. They both opened the door. Brooklyn took matter again by comparing what they're seeing with a show they BOTH watch, "Ooh. This is just like that Ester Stone episode when—"

"Brooklyn. My family," Sammy reminded.

Brooklyn realized she was going off track, "Right. Right, right. Sorry." They walked down and found the door that Brooklyn was talking about that was labeled "E750." They opened the door and looked around with the most minimal light. The only source of light was the light coming out of a small window. Brooklyn found a laptop, and opened it. It showed her SO many videos that were kept in files. Sammy walked towards Brooklyn and saw the same thing. Brooklyn told her, "You found this place, Sammy," She got off the chair and faced her, "All you."

Sammy happily accepted the offer and inspected the files. She looked at the files and randomly picked one of them. It took them to a video. The only person SPEAKING in the video is the mad scientist that started this chaos. "This is log entry 239. I am delighted to announce that the E750 project is a COMPLETE success. I have created the FIRST hybrid dinosaur and decided to name it, the Scorpius Rex. Granted, its behaviors are a bit unusual. But no one can deny this scientific breakthrough."

"Play the next one," Brooklyn asked.

Sammy obeyed and played the video right after. In that video, the person speaking is ALSO that evil scientist, "This is log entry 240. Mr. Masarani called the Scorpius 'too ugly to put on display.' But still, I shall continue my work, undeterred." Sammy played a different one. The same person spoke in that one too. Did he make ALL of these videos? "This is log entry 257. The Scorpius's mind turned out to be as fragmented as it's body. One moment, it's extremely aggressive. But, I remain confident that I will—" He was cut off with the Scorpius attacking him.

In the video, they heard voices saying, "He's injured! Get him the anti-venom, we need it now! It's okay. It's okay." Then the video went static.

Sammy panicked, as she pressed another video. In THAT one, the evil scientist spoke, "Mr. Masarani ordered me to destroy the speciman. I decided to put it inside a frozen chamber. Until I can determine exactly what went wrong and where it can't pose a threat to anyone." The video stopped recording.

Brooklyn shook her head, "If the Indominus Rex was a success, what kind of crazy scary would be a failure like E750?"

"Good thing he froze it," Sammy claimed until she saw the shocked look on Brooklyn's face. "Brooklyn?" Sammy turned around and saw EXACTLY what Brooklyn was seeing. The chamber is broken.
