Ben and I were still running through the jungle. Ben shouted out some ideas he had for the explosion, "I have a few ideas on how this should go. One, you create a diversion and I blow something up. Two, I create a diversion, and we BOTH blow something up. Three, forget the diversions all together. I blow something up."
"Yup. Got it. Thanks," I said, "But whatever that something is, it has to be big enough and high enough so the Scorpius CAN'T miss it."
Ben took a while to think then he knew something that could help. "I know just the thing." He kept running. So did I.
I asked him, "How do you know where you're going?"
Ben answered, "Told ya. I spent a lot of time wandering this place with...Bumpy..." The thought of Bumpy got Ben to lose track of what we're doing. But then he got back on track, "We gotta move faster. Brooklyn and Darius are counting on us!" We heard some of those flying raptors above us, so we ducked and managed to stay hidden underneath the grass. Ben got up and gave me a big leaf. Big enough to cover my head. "Hold this above your head if you don't want to get snatched," Ben advises. I take the leaf and held it above my head. We made it pass the dinosaurs.
Meanwhile, Darius kept running. He found the raptor paddock. Then, he ran a different direction to make the lab. He found it, but he walked to the door with a huge tree blocking it. There was some space in between the tree and the door, so he tried opening the door. But as he did, he realized that a stunt was blocking the door making it hard to open. Darius tried to push the tree with his legs, but he couldn't do it. Then, he just got another memory:
Flashback:
Darius walked closer to her. Brooklyn let it out, "I...I like you, Darius. Yes I know the timing is terrible, but I realized I was too late. If I had realized sooner then I would've told you. I...I like you." ... Finally, Darius let out, "No, you don't." Brooklyn looked at him, confused. "You don't like me, Brooklyn. You're right, you would've told me sooner. If it took you this long, then it's the kind of in the moment, thing. And, I don't like you. Even if I did, we wouldn't be able to make it work out. We both have very different lives. It won't work out. Sorry, but...I don't like you." ... "You're only afraid of losing her, which is okay. But leaving every new person that walks into your life isn't the way to go. Because if that's what you decide to do, then you really don't deserve her."
Flashback ends:
Darius regret saying those words to Brooklyn. Using that, he took all his strength to push the tree further away from the door. Eventually, he pushed the door and made it inside.
Meanwhile in the jungle, Ben took me to some area and looked through every bush. Finally, he found what he was looking for and held it out. I asked, "Gasoline? Dude, how much did you take?"
Ben answered, "Not much. I figured we had PLENTY to take to Costa Rica so I stashed some away. You know. In case of a rainy day."

HorrorI have written this story before. But over time, I have become a better author, so I will be rewriting this story in a better way. This is all from my perspective as I made myself as one of the characters.
