I tried contacting Darius from the walkie talkie. He was about to switch it off, until he heard a new voice, "Darius, I know you can hear me. Do NOT turn off the walkie." It was a smart decision giving it to Brooklyn. He OBVIOUSLY can't turn off the walkie if she's talking.
Darius answered, "Yes, I hear you, Brooklyn."
Brooklyn demanded, "Just come back, or take someone with you. You don't ALWAYS have to go alone."
"Brooklyn, I saved you. I can get rid of that guilt. But now, I gotta look for Ben. I've given up on him once, I can't do it again."
"We'll get someone else to go with you. Come back, Darius. Get back here right-" He cut the walkie. Since he wasn't answering back, we guessed that he cut the walkie.
We heard Kenji complain up front, "Stupid Darius thought we'd leave without him on the stupid boat."
Sammy reassured, "Don't worry. Kid's got major fomo. He'll be there before sunrise."
"But will we?" I asked, looking at the havoc shown in front of us.
Kenji complains even MORE, "Everything's been torn, knocked down, or trampled. Stupid Scorpius messing up the stupid path to the stupid boat."
Brooklyn requested, "One sec. That Scorpius is gonna find US before WE find the boat."
Sammy reassured, "Nah, we'll be fine. The others got this. Right guys? You got this. I believe in you."
Kenji asked, "Okay, and?"
"And what?" Sammy asked, "I just really believe in you guys. Keep up the good work."
This caused us to be even MORE confused. Yaz asked, "Did she just encourage us?"
I answered, "Uh...I can't tell. Whatever okay," I began thinking, "Whenever we're on our way to the boat, Darius is ALWAYS like, 'Oh did you know that Stegosauruses pull bark off the trees to-' " I came to a realization, "It's because he ALWAYS find a tree with a missing bark. We find THAT, we find the BOAT."
Sammy complimented me, "Great job, you guys. We're gonna be out of here in NO time."
She confused us even MORE. "I'm SO confused."
