Darius was down by the boat with a rope tied around his waist. Me and Yaz were holding onto the rope. He was taking out the old pieces of tape and placing new ones. Kenji yelled, "Hurry, Darius! With the engine off, we could be swept into sea, or smashed by the rocks!" Darius realized that Kenji was right. He looked behind him. Ocean. He looked to his left and right. MORE ocean. Realizing this, Darius started working a bit faster.
A few seconds later, he told everyone, "Alright, pull me up!" We pulled him up. He told us, "We gotta fix up that hole, or the gas will be the least of our problems."
"I thought having no GPS was the least of our problems," Kenji thought out loud.
I added, "Yeah. And not to mention the doom and gloom but—" the boat rocks a bit. "Pretty sure we're also sinking."
Kenji said, "No really, that's because um..." He looks at Ben and we realize what he meant.
Ben whispered into Bumpy's ear, "Don't listen to him. You're perfect the way you are." The boat was filled with groans. Then he asked, "Is there like, a non-invested dock we can get to?"
Brooklyn answered, "The closest one is on the other side of the island. We'll NEVER make it. Ugh, we're doomed AND gloomed."
Then, Kenji remembered something, "Hold up! There IS one dock. A private dock that isn't shown on ANY of the maps. A dock near the Pee House."
We all got confused. Ben stated, "I went in the one right here."
Kenji realized what they were all thinking, "No not the...my dad's penthouse. It has a private pier and everything."
I scoffed, "And you're just NOW telling us this?"
Kenji tried defending himself, "Okay, MAYBE I forgot, but now we have a magic keycard to get inside it, so meh."
Darius stated, "That penthouse could have EVERYTHING we need."
"WILL have everything we need," Kenji tries to correct. He began to drive to that dock.
A few hours later, we have reached the dock. Looking at the gas, Darius stated, "This is it. That's the last of the gas."
Kenji stated in pride, "Well you're in luck because you're about to see the most exclusive spot on the island!" We preferred walking, but Kenji made us ride on these motor bike things.
I asked him, "Dude. Ya' know we can just WALK there instead of riding these stuff, right?"
Kenji doesn't share the mood I am in right now, "At the penthouse, we travel in style. And thanks to B's magic keycard opening EVERY door on the island, I can finally show you guys my home away from home." Once we drove a little further, we looked to the side and saw a dinosaur.
Darius clarified what it was, "It's just a Monolophosaurus. They're loners. Pretty much, keep to themselves."
Ignoring them, Kenji stated, "Then onwards. Paradise awaits."
Once we have arrived at the penthouse, I made up the plan, "Okay. So we have arrived. We should get in, rest for a little bit, get everything we need, and get out."
Brooklyn inched the keycard closer to the lock, and it opened. The elevator decided to shut down, so we decided to run up the stairs. The first few floors, we were doing okay. When arriving at about floor sixteen, we started slowing down. THEN, Kenji opened a door on floor twenty-two, and we stepped in. In between breaths, I asked, "How do we run from dinos everyday, and we're still THIS winded from taking the stairs?"
Kenji apologized, "Sorry. If the elevator was working, we'd be up here a lot sooner." Once we all caught our breath, we looked around. And we saw the room. The luxury. The neatness. Kenji walked in front and said, "Welcome to Casa De Kenji. Who's up for the grand tour?" Not caring about his description, we ran towards the luxury in front of us. Darius saw a golden statue of a dinosaur head and was shocked. Kenji explained, "A gift from Masarani. I named it, Horatio."

HorrorI have written this story before. But over time, I have become a better author, so I will be rewriting this story in a better way. This is all from my perspective as I made myself as one of the characters.
