Darius, Brooklyn, and I were standing at the deck of the boat. Kenji eventually joined us. He told us, "I cut the fuel to save whatever gas we have left. We are officially adrift."
"But, it doesn't make sense." We all turned to look at him. Darius continued, "First, Compies disappear from camp. Next, peaceful herbivores attack us and take over the dock? In an area they don't even care about?"
"Things are definitely getting next level weird," Brooklyn added.
Kenji agreed, "Yeah. 'Dinosaurs never go bonkers,' said no one, ever."
"It's more than that," I continued, "It's almost as the whole island is out of balance somehow. But why?"
