I felt like I was the only one who noticed, "Uh, where's Ben?" Everyone else realized that Ben wasn't there either. We took the supplies with us as we were walking in the jungle looking for him.
Sammy recalled, "Bumpy ran off because of the Scorpius Rex. Ben's probably going after her."
Everyone seemed to think the same thing. Darius said with courage, "Then I'M going after HIM."
Brooklyn asked, "Um...does anyone ELSE see the irony?"
I answered, "Fine, let's go. The sooner we get Ben, the sooner we get out of here."
"We can't risk all of us. The Scorpius is still out there," Darius makes the risky decision again, "I'm going alone."
"Again?" I asked, "You don't ALWAYS have to go on your own."
"Get everyone to the boat," he told me, "If me and Ben aren't there by sunrise, well, you know what that means, and you leave without us."
"What? Bro, be for real."
"Maybe take someone with you?"
Darius pretended to hear something close by, then he ran off. We realized that AFTER we saw nothing, and we saw him gone.
I groaned, "Ugh. He left off."
Brooklyn asks, "What do we do now?"
I answered, "We make the boat, I guess. We'll wait for them, until they get back."

HorrorI have written this story before. But over time, I have become a better author, so I will be rewriting this story in a better way. This is all from my perspective as I made myself as one of the characters.
