Throughout the night, we used everything we could find to use against the fence. This might be the final night to let out anything you didn't get the chance to. Speaking of that, Brooklyn looked at Darius and felt like she had to do something. She had to let something out to him. But what? Okay, Brooklyn. You've spent time with him and SLOWLY realized that you like him. No, not like. LOVE him. This might be the final night for us. We might not survive. This is the only time I have. I HAVE to tell him NOW. Getting the confidence in her, she slowly walked towards the dino-nerd. Once she was close enough to him, she let out a small cough. Darius turned his attention to her. "Hey, you good?" Brooklyn gave him a raised eyebrow questioning what he JUST said. He backtracked, "Right. Stupid question."
Brooklyn was getting nervous, but she began building up confidence, "So, um...this might be a bad time, but we might not survive considering...you know. So, this is the only chance I have. I...have to tell you something." Darius walked closer to her. Brooklyn let it out, "I...I like you, Darius. Yes I know the timing is terrible, but I realized I was too late. If I had realized sooner then I would've told you. I...I like you."
Darius was filled with MANY emotions after those words. Happiness, depression, fear, all in between. He wasn't sure how to feel. Happiness that he likes her as well. Depression since he is trying to survive. Fear because he doesn't want to lose her. Brooklyn stood there, waiting for an answer. Finally, Darius let out, "No, you don't." Brooklyn looked at him, confused. "You don't like me, Brooklyn. You're right, you would've told me sooner. If it took you this long, then it's the kind of in the moment, thing. And, I don't like you. Even if I did, we wouldn't be able to make it work out. We both have very different lives. It won't work out. Sorry, but...I don't like you."
Those words filled Brooklyn with sorrow and left her heartbroken. "I'm...I'm sorry," she whispered, walking away, struggling to hold the tears back.
I watched the whole thing and walked up to Darius, "What the heck! You're just gonna leave her like that?"
"Don't start with me. Like I said, I don't like her—"
"Darius. We've ALL seen how you both talk. We ALL know that you care for Brooklyn," after saying that, I realized why Darius said that. "Oh. That's why. Okay listen, I understand. You're only afraid of losing her, which is okay. But leaving every new person that walks into your life isn't the way to go. Trust me, I may be younger, but I've still had experience. If that's what you decide to do, then you really don't deserve her." I walked away with those final words. Darius stood there, realizing that I had a point. If he cared for Brooklyn and is afraid of losing her, he can't just leave her to save her.
BEEP! Sammy accidentally honked a horn and Kenji fell down. I realized, "Wait, if the horn has power..." I took the horn out and told everyone, "Now look around for some wires." I carefully attached the wires to the horn and attached them to the fence to transfer the power. I threw a stick to test if my theory would come true. After that experiment, I turned the fence into an electric fence. We heard Bumpy roar in fear as she ran away. It's here. Everyone quickly climbed up the ladder for protection. It's death time.

HorrorI have written this story before. But over time, I have become a better author, so I will be rewriting this story in a better way. This is all from my perspective as I made myself as one of the characters.
