CHAPTER TWENTY~EIGHT.
"Oh my gosh Teddy! You are so stupid!" I hit the palm of my hand against his sweaty forehead.
"Okay ow! I got that, but you don't need to keep smacking me!" He squeaks out. "Wait..why am I stupid?"
"I don't know! You were probably born that way!"
He clears his throat and gives me a stony glare, "Not what I meant. Why are you calling me stupid?"
"Because you didn't know where your grandpas pit was!" I clarify. "Now we're stuck. Bryson and Wesley might not be able to find us. Don't you know your way around the woods by now?"
"Um don't you know your way around the woods by now?" He retorts.
"I'm from Arizona, we don't really have woods there!" I shout.
He holds his hands in defense, "Okay okay! I got it, no need to yell at me!"
"I'm mad, and I'm cold, and my body hurts, oh and did I say I'm mad?"
"Paisley I'm sorry, I didn't intend for us to fall into his twelve foot hole and I never want or wanted you to get hurt."
I cover my face with my hands, "Your right, I know, I'm sorry Teddy."
He sits down next to me and wraps his arm around me. "Its okay Pais, I know you didn't mean it, well maybe a little."
"It's fricking freezing!" I exclaim, shivering and hugging my own body for warmth.
"Looks like we're gonna have to cuddle."
"I don't want to cuddle with you." I state bluntly.
"Well if you want to survive."
I shake my head and hop up, "They'll be here any second now."
He stands quickly, crossing his arms and shaking his head side to side. "No I don't think so."
"Well I think so!"
He snickers softly, "Well you're wrong."
I snap my neck turning to look at him, "Maybe your wrong!"
His smile fades quickly, "You're yelling again, and I'm not wrong."
I shake my head, "Yes you are."
"No actually, I'm not. I'm never wrong."
I roll my eyes, "Well your wrong about this."
He hisses as he breathes in, "Actually I'm not." He grins.
"Why are you smiling?"
"Because I know I'm right."
"Ughh!" I screech, "You are so annoying! Out of all the people in the world I had to be stuck in a hole with you."
