Silent Drive and Breaking Point.

The drive from the college to the apartment was suffocatingly quiet.

Mythili sat in the front seat, her head leaned against the window, watching the streetlights blur past.

Sandhya and Sowmya sat in the back, exchanging worried glances but staying silent.

The only sound in the car was Mythili's soft, shaky breathing as she tried to hide her tears. She felt small and broken.

Her friends tried to reach out and touch her shoulder to console her, but she didn't move. She was trapped in the memory of Ram's furious face and his loud "SHUT UP" echoing in her ears.

Sravan gripped the steering wheel, his eyes moving from the road to Mythili's.

He saw her fluffy, red eyes and her chubby cheeks, now stained with tears. Her hair was still a mess, and her saree was dusty from the ground. It pained him to see her like this.

"He loves you so much." Sravan said, finally breaking the heavy silence.

She frowned, her eyebrows knitting together as she looked at him through her tears.

"He loves you like you are his BREATH.🍃༄" he continued softly. "He cares for you and adores you more than anyone, even if he doesn't always know how to say it.

He's been under so much stress lately—the Janardhan case, his dad's accident... and then the news that you were missing. It took a huge toll on him. That's why he lashed out."

Her heart sank. She looked at him with wide eyes. "What happened to Uncle? And when did he come back from Bengaluru?"

"He came back the day before yesterday," Sravan explained. "Uncle got into a bad accident. Ram has been at the hospital every night and at the office every day. He hasn't rested for a second. Then he got your missing news."

She looked back at her friends, feeling a wave of gratitude that they had called him, but also a deep sense of guilt. She realized now why Ram was so on edge.

The car finally slowed down as they reached the apartment gate. Sandhya and Sowmya got out, looking at her with concern.

They wanted her to come upstairs with them, but she remained frozen in the front seat.

She looked at Sravan, a single tear rolling down her cheek. "Annaya... take me to him."

"Mythili, you should rest—"

"Please, Annaya," she pleaded, her voice cracking. "Take me to him."         (Annaya= brother)

He sighed. He looked at Sandhya and Sowmya and signaled for them to go ahead, promising to return after dropping Mythili off.

As the car reversed and headed toward Ram's home, She stared out into the night, knowing she had to face his silence. 🚗💨

A man was calling continuously but none of them are lifting the calls from other side.

He paced back and forth, his shadows stretching long across the floor. He is frustrated.

"Why aren't they picking up?" he hissed to himself. "Did they get her? Is she in the van?"

His hatred for DCP Ramachandra was like a thirst that couldn't be quenched. He wanted to see him broken, crying.
