The Offer He Couldn't Refuse.

Mythili walked back to her scooty, her lips forming a small pout, her eyes slightly dull.

Sowmya and Sandhya immediately noticed.

"What happened, mythu? Where did you go? I was calling you—you didn't even listen!" Sandhya asked, concern evident in her voice.

"Nowhere raa..". said she replied casually.

But her face told a completely different story.

The two exchanged a glance but didn't push further. She would tell them... when she was ready.

They stood there, waiting for the traffic to clear. Not even once did she look in Ram's direction. She was deliberately avoiding him.

Instead, she kept talking to her friends...complaining about the delay...
whining about how late they were getting for college.

She was doing everything she could...not to look at him.

Meanwhile, he kept glancing in her direction from time to time.

He couldn't help it. After all—He was the reason for that pout on her face.

But what amused him the most—Not even once did she look at him.

Not even by mistake.  A faint smile tugged at his lips.

Her childish stubbornness... her silent protest-- It was strangely adorable to him.

Sometimes she smiled...sometimes she laughed...sometimes she pouted...and sometimes she whined like a little child.

Even though she was a little far away—His trained police eyes didn't miss a single thing. Every expression...Every little change on her face—He noticed it all.

He controlled his smile seeing her cute antics. 

After nearly half an hour, the traffic finally cleared. Vehicles began to move slowly, one after another.

His gaze instinctively searched for her—And there she was.

As her bike passed by his side, he watched her closely.

Mythili, unable to resist, stole a glance at him from the corner of her eyes—And in that very moment—She realized... He was already looking at her.

Startled, she quickly turned her face forward. As if she hadn't looked at him at all.

Sandhya & sowmya also saw him. They understood where mythili went.

They reached college almost an hour late, but were allowed inside as the management was aware of the traffic halt due to the CM's visit.

They quickly entered their classroom and took their seats, as the lecture was already in progress.

Meanwhile, once the traffic cleared, Ram headed towards the hospital where the inauguration was scheduled, getting back to his duty and responsibilities

It was evening by the time Ram was relieved from duty.

After ensuring the Chief Minister left safely, he and his team conducted one final round of checks around the area.

Only after everything was clear- He allow himself to step back.

He glanced at his watch.

It was 4:30 PM.
