The Lion's Regret 🐯 and Pitta's Resolve.🐦

Mythili arrived home in tears, sniffing the entire way. Her friends followed her in a heavy, guilty silence, realizing their "surprise" had completely backfired and caused her pain.
Without a single word, Mythili walked straight to her room and slammed the door shut, leaving her friends flinching and exchanging worried glances in the hallway.
"I think she was hurt very badly," Sandhya noted sadly.
Sowmya was fuming. "That DCP sir is terrible! He's always losing his temper and shouting at our Mythu. This isn't the first time, and I hate seeing her hurt. I'm not letting him off the hook."
She continued in a huff, "Assalu em anukuntunnaru DCP sir thanagurinchi? Pedda goppa officer ani tekku kavacchu! Eppudu padthe appudu Mythu meedha arusthadu. I'll not tolerate this!"
(What does he think of himself? He might have the pride of being a big officer, but he can't just shout at Mythu whenever he wants. I won't stand for it!)
Sandhya looked at Sowmya and replied sarcastically, "Ha... nuvvu cheppindi nijame, kaani 'pedda officer ani tekku' ente? Ayana nijangane pedda officer kada, stupid!"
(Ha... what you said is right, but why say he's 'acting' like a big officer? He is a big officer, stupid!)
"Edo okati le." (Whatever...) Sowmya muttered, flopping onto the sofa.
After a moment, Sowmya stood back up. "Should we go inside? We need to check on her."
Sandhya quickly grabbed her hand and pulled her back down. "Leave her alone for a while. Give her some time; everything will be alright."
"Okay" said sowmya. "Come let's prepare dinner."

Inside the room, Mythili lay on her stomach, her crying reduced to light sniffs. She replayed the scene at the station over and over, feeling a deep ache in her heart from the way he had ordered her to leave.
She wondered why he was always so explosive. She knew he had anger issues, but his fury was the one thing she truly feared.
At the same time, she realized her own devotion: "DCP sir tho paate ee kopam kuda oka package la vachina... nenu santhoshamga bharisthanu."
(Even if this anger comes as a package deal along with DCP sir... I will happily embrace it.)
She pouted, wondering why he always had to scold her. Even a slight raise in his voice or a sharp look sent shivers down her spine.
She sighed, thinking, "Police-ni preminchadam valla vacche extra features ivve anukunta." (I guess these are the extra 'features' you get for loving a policeman.)
To her, everything with the Ramachandra was intensified. His love, his passion, and his care were 100 times stronger than a normal relationship—and so was his anger.
But this time, her fear turned into firm resolve. She was tired of shrugging it off as 'just his nature.'
She realized that if she kept forgiving him every time he lashed out, it would damage their relationship forever.
"I shouldn't stay silent if he shouts like this every time. He needs to realize his mistake."
She made a firm decision: she wouldn't speak to him until he truly made it up to her.
