Mythu stepped inside, the phantom heat of his touch still lingering on her skin. Her mind was a whirlwind of his words, but the living room was already occupied.
Her friends were waiting for her.
Mythu!" Sowmya called out, patting the seat beside her.
The excitement in her eyes was unmistakable.
Sandhya sat on the other side, leaning in.
Mythu sat down between them.
"So... tell us everything," Sowmya asked excitedly.
"Tell you what?" she asked, trying to keep her voice steady.
"Arey.... About your coffee date, obviously!" Sowmya said with grin.
She shrugged, trying to play it cool. "It wasn't a date. We just had coffee and he dropped me home. That's it."
"Maa voorlo dhanni coffe date ane antaare picchidhaana." Sowmya teased, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
(In my part of the city people will call it as a coffee date only. Stupid.)
"That's it?" Sandhya asked, her eyes narrowing playfully.
She didn't answer. Instead, the memory of their final moments at the car flashed through her mind. A shy, betraying smile stretched across her lips.
"Arey wah! Look at her blushing," Sowmya squealed. "Something definitely happened right.
"Tell us na... did you guys kissed?"
Her eyes widened. "No! Why would we do that?"
Both Sandhya and Sowmya burst out laughing seeing her reaction.
She grabbed a pillow and began jokingly thrashing her friends to hide her flaming cheeks.
"Ha-ha stop Mythu...!" they shouted, laughing and defending themselves.
Finally, she flopped onto the sofa, breathless. She threw pillow on their faces.
"We don't mind a kiss," Sowmya added with a wink. "Our bava gaaru is too hot to resist. A kiss is practically mandatory."
That's it.
That was the breaking point.
A chaotic chase ensued through the house—pillows flying, laughter echoing, and insults like "donkey" and "buffalo" filling the air.
"Come here... I'll give you the kiss..." Mythu shouted chasing them.
"Chi.....I'm very straight you know." Sowmya yelled, laughing while running.
"It's better if you try your skills on DCP sir! Outcome will be fantastic!" she added.
"You buffalo, stop there!" Mythili yelled, still chasing her while blushing hard.
Whole house filled with laughter.
A happy home.
"Hammayya..." Sowmya finally collapsed on the sofa. "I'm tired... let's eat dinner, I'm hungry."
