At the hospital, Mythili struggled to keep up with Ram's long strides while managing her saree.

"DCP sir, walk slowly." she pleaded, clutching her pleats in one hand and his hand in the other.

In response, he smiled and pulled her close, wrapping his arm firmly around her waist. She gasped in surprise, looking up at him as he drew her into his side.

"DCP sir, em chestunnaru? vadhalandi." she whispered, struggling slightly as she glanced around the hallway. She let out a breath of relief, realizing the corridor was empty.

(DCP sir, what are you doing? Let me go.)

Instead of letting go, he pulled her even closer. She grabbed his shoulders to steady herself, looking up at him in confusion.

"Never." he said firmly, his eyes locking onto hers. "I am never leaving you. I'm going to keep you tied to me forever. Understood?"

She could only nod in agreement, completely lost in his gaze.

He leaned in close, making her heart race. As she instinctively closed her eyes, he pressed a soft kiss to her forehead—but just as quickly, he pulled back and stood two steps away.

She stood frozen, her breath hitching in the sudden silence. When she opened her eyes and frowned, wondering why he had moved, she heard the echo of approaching footsteps in the corridor.

Realizing he had sensed someone coming, she quickly composed herself and shot him a playful glare. he just chuckled, offering his hand, and together they walked toward his father's ward.

They found his mother and sister waiting outside the ward. Nervous about this first meeting, She instinctively hid behind Ram.

"Amma" (Mom)".

"Chandu, vacchavara.." (Chandu, u came?) his mother said warmly.

But it was Roshini, his sister, whose eyes lit up the moment she saw Mythili. With a wide smile, she rushed forward and pulled her into a tight hug, exclaiming, "Vadhina!" (sister-in-law).

She stood frozen, too shocked to even hug her back. He closed his eyes in a moment of silent frustration, muttering, "Shit," as his sister accidentally let the secret out before he could even introduce her.

His mother looked back and forth between them, confusion turning into recognition as she realized who Mythili was.

She raised her eyebrows at Ram, her silent gaze demanding an explanation.

"Why are you all waiting outside?" He asked, quickly trying to regain his composure and shift the focus.

Roshini let go of the hug and noticed Mythili's nervous expression. "Vadhina, don't worry," she whispered reassuringly. "My amma is very sweet, trust me."

Mythili nodded silently, staying close to Roshini for support.

"The doctor just came in for a routine checkup, so we stepped out," his mother explained, though her eyes never left the couple, still waiting for the real story.

The doctor stepped out with a positive update: Ram's father was doing well and would be discharged in a week, though his fractures would need a month to fully heal.

Relieved, Ram headed inside the room to see his father, followed closely by his mother, while Roshini and Mythili remained in the hallway.

Inside, Ram sat by the bed. "How are you, nanna?" he asked.
