We went to college on our lovely babies -- our scooties. I have one for myself and both Sowmya and Sandhya share the other one.
Today is the first day, so not many classes have started. Only the introductions of the semester is done. We three usually shares the same bench.
At lunch break, we went to our usual spot where we have our lunch.
It's a peaceful place on the campus.
Our college is a Greenfield campus, mostly surrounded my huge trees. Mainly, no one will come to this side of campus.
So it became our hanging spot.
We usually have our lunch here. Though we have a gigantic library on the campus, we opt for this place for our peaceful studies.

We were seated there and Sowmya was talking something about a professor... blah blah... suddenly–
"Mythili, your birthday is the day after tomorrow right?." asked sowmya enthusiastically.
"Avnu (yes) somwi." I answered.
"Then let's celebrate the day. We'll go to a restaurant for lunch and then there is a newly opened mall– we'll go there, and then a movie night." said Sandhya, already starting to plan for the day with so much excitement, as it was her birthday.
These fellows are too much.
But I love them.
My cutie pies.
"Yes, we'll do all that, but not on my birthday, babies." I said, bursting their imaginary bubble.
"What?"
"Why?"
Both of them screamed simultaneously.
I closed both my ears with my hands at their loud screaming.
"Yes, first of all, on that day it's college working day, so we need to attend the college and we can't enjoy the whole day as per the plan." I said.
"But we can bunk the college naa, mythu, Why are you spoiling the plan rey?, please, please mythu don't spoil it naa.." Sowmya started whining.
"No, On that day, faculty are planning to make the batches for the labs and there is some training program.
We must and should attend it.
so we can't skip the college that day whole day outside." I explained them.
"So What say now? no enjoyment?." said Sandhya.
"No, we'll enjoy but on the weekend, okay naa?." I asked.
"Okay mythili......" they said singing my name.

Today is the D day.
My birthday.
My both crazy monkeys wished me at 12'o clock.
I cut the cake which was baked by sandhya.
She is amazing at baking.
On every birthday, I have a habit of going to temple.
So I woke up early in the morning and took a shower wore a new dress.

By then, my phone started ringing.
It was from my father.
"Hello, nanna".
"Hello beta, happiest birthday maa. May god bless you." My father wished me.
"Thank you, nanna. Where is amma?"
"Here, talk to her. Happy bday mythu." Amma wished me.
" Thank you to amma."
"Are you going to temple mythili ?." asked my mother.
"Yes amma, First to temple and then to college." I answered her.
I spoke with them for sometime.
I wrote a note to my monkey friends saying that am going to temple and I'll come directly to the college.
I also told them to breakfast and not wait for me.
I started to temple.
