Dear Reader,
Well I guess I can say that you're my friend considering that I'm writing this just for you telling you about me. That's what friends do, right? Well I think so. So friends naturally are the ones you can trust the most, right? Well yes and no. There are those "friends" that just use you, get what they want then get out. Then again there are those friends that are the ones you can trust. Of course we have the friends like Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift. Or Abigail and Taylor. Then you have those friendships that turn sour. Like Katy Perry and Taylor Swift. Cause baby they've got bad blood. It just wasn't meant to be.
As someone whose life is currently changing like there's no tomorrow I think I know a thing or two about this. There are friends that I will lose, but you know that's life. I don't want to lose any of them. They're all perfect in their own ways. I love them all too much to just give up.
I'm going to fight for my friends, but if God decides that it's time for one of them to go then okay. I'll still have all those memories that I have with them. The amazing times we had. They'll always be special to me no matter what. They shaped me into who I am today. That's all I could ask of them. IT's more than enough.
I try to be nice to everyone I meet, but there are guidelines. Like if we meet and you're mean to me or anyone around me. Well, I am not here for that. Unless you have a good excuse as to why you are being this mean then Dubai (In case you don't get the reference it's Tyler Oakley). Then again there's never a good excuse. So if you're mean well see you never then. The thing is though not everyone is what they seem. They may be kind at first, but you have to be aware. Just like a relationship.
A big way to tell is how they treat the people most important (or should be) to them. How they treat their parents , their girlfriend/boyfriend, their siblings ect. Honestly you can never tell who they really are everyone has something to hide.
Not everyone's is bad though. It could be that they have a weird obsession with a band ( which who cares anymore) or that they're adopted. You just need to find out for yourself. As for me, well I'm pretty much an open book on here, but there are things that my best friends don't know about me. Like how I overthink things to no end. I just can't stop. It normally happens late at night which I've grown more accustomed to lately. I think 'what if this happened' or 'are they mad at me?' It's all very weird.
Always try to be as open as you can though. It really helps build friendships. Sure, you can have things you keep to yourself, but always try to be as open as possible. Just remember people change. Not everyone stays the same. I changed so much this summer. I never used to swear, and hated the cold months. Now I still try not to swear, but I let go, and now I can't wait for fall to happen. Everything good happens in the cold months.
As a softball player I rarely get to know anyone because I'm always moving to new teams every year. Something was different about this season though. I really got to know these girls. They made me feel like I belonged somewhere. Sure, I may never see any of them again, but they helped me become more well, me. That's something special so don't let that go. I made some life time friends on that team, and I love them all.
Just remember that everything comes to an end. Friendships, love, time, life. It all ends some sooner than others. So if that one person in your life gets you mad try, and forgive, and forget. It makes life a lot easier than holding a grudge. I was bullied when I was younger, and let me tell you it wasn't fun. I had no idea what was going on at the time. I was teased for being a 'crybaby' or saying something stupid that all little kids say. It was awful, and one of my main bullies was my brother's friend. Cringe worthy right? Well they're still friends and I don't hold a grudge anymore because of what he did. Sure we were little and had no idea what we were doing or if something hurt someone, but it still wasn't acceptable.
