"I don't know but he just looked over at us." Kelly whispered, looking away from the man across the room.

"What do we do?" Allison said quietly, nerves creeping throughout her body.

"Nothing," Jack assured, coming into their conversation, "He doesn't have the balls to come over here with all of us, so just relax and stick with one of us, okay?"

Allison just nodded in response and avoided eye contact with her ex-boyfriend, Connor, as a salad made its way in front of her. The other three at the table exchanged confused glances with each other.

The night continued on for a while as it had started out, the table talking and Jimmy remaining mostly quiet.

They all ate and then continued off to the auction tables together.

"Here, you can bid on this Jo." Allison laughed, pointing a gardening kit that was up for auction.

"How'd you know I wanted to be able to grow my own peppers?" He asked sarcastically.

"Everyone can tell." Taj smirked from beside them.

"Hey are you okay?" Allison asked, as she broke slightly away from everyone and went towards Jimmy, "You've just been really quiet all night, did I do something?"

"No," he shook his head and sighed, "It's Taj, he's just been in my head all day and I- it's not you, really." He assured her.

"Okay," she said disbelievingly, "I just wanted to make sure." She said, trying not to pry.

"Really," he nodded, "It's all good." He confirmed

Before she knew it Taj, Joakim, Kelly and Jack seemed to have disappeared and she didn't have her eyes on Connor. Not wanting to seem clingy to Jimmy she separated from him and walked around the auction tables, with her drink in hand.

She was reading the details in an auction for a week in someone's beach house when she flinched under a familiar hand firmly placed on her shoulder. She closed her eyes and prayed it wasn't who she thought it was.

But it was.

"How are you doing tonight?" he whispered as his hand gripped her shoulder harder, "I haven't been able to see you in a while."

"You don't think that is for a reason?" she asked, refusing to look directly at him.

"Oh please," he snickered, "when I found out you'd be here tonight, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to reconnect."
