Hey guys, its Kendra and I just want to give a quick disclaimer: I ONLY own the plot and characters that I have created. I don't own anything related to the Bulls, thank you.
It'd been a little while since Xander left and Allison was feeling at peace, almost. She felt a lot better about herself, she felt like maybe she was moving forward. She was in a rush on her way to work, so she grabbed her mail and headed straight to practice.
She arrived a couple minutes late anyway, so she began rummaging through her mail where she found an RSVP to a wedding....Andy's wedding. She didn't even know he was dating, let alone engaged.
"Andy!" She called from the top of the hill, running down the stairs to the track to confront her coworker and maybe even her friend.
"Allison, hey!" He greeted, "Since you were a little late I had them get started and stuff." He said
"What is this?" She asked with a grin, holding up his RSPV card and waving it in front of him.
"The RSVP to my wedding..." He answered, confused.
"I didn't know you were getting married!" She said with enthusiasm, "I'm so excited for you!"
"Really?" Andy asked, surprised, "Then...why didn't you RSVP?"
"What are you talking about?"
"You never RSPV'd and the wedding is next month..." Andy stated awkwardly
"What?!" She exclaimed, "No, no, no, Andy I just got this in the mail today."
"Oh no..." He said shaking his head, "Dammit."
"So...I can't come?" She said sweetly.
"No, you can come." He said, rubbing his temples, "That is the last time I let my mother-in-law do anything for me."
"Aw, sorry ." She smiled, "I'm in!" She exclaimed.
"Yeah, you're in." He chuckled, "Are you...brining a plus one?" he asked
"No." She shook her head, "Don't worry about that, I won't bring anyone."
"It's no problem, so you can if you want."
"I don't have anyone to bring anyways." She sighed
"Aw Allison."
"Coach, are we done now?" Joakim yelled from behind her, as they concluded their first work out.
"Yeah, you guys can take a little break." She called over to the rest of the group, "So, did you invite the team?"
"Yeah," Andy nodded, "Most of them are coming, so it'll be a good time." He nodded nervously.
"Honestly, I didn't even know you were engaged," She admitted, "Why didn't you tell me?"
"I didn't want to make it a big deal." He shrugged
"Since when do you not want to make something a big deal?"
"Do you wanna come or not?" Andy asked, sarcastically.
"Okay, okay!" Allison backed off, with a laugh, "I'm just happy for you."
"Thanks," He said, "It'll happen for you one day, just gotta wait for it."
