Hey guys, its Kendra and I just want to give a quick disclaimer: I ONLY own the plot and characters that I have created. I don't own anything related to the Bulls, thank you.

"What?" Jimmy asked, in a whisper. His heart was broken. All of this. It was all his fault, and she was left feeling like the one who had done wrong.

"You know what, never mind don't answer that." Allison said, with exhaustion, "It's over anyway, this is done." She shook her head, slinging her bag over her shoulder.

She let out a final deep breath before looking Jimmy straight in the eyes. That's when he could see it. What this had done to her. She looked so sad, and he was so stupid for doing this to her.

"I have to go." She said quietly, not feeling like she could argue for another second.

"But-" Jimmy tried, he would say or do anything to make her stay. But, she blew right past him and walked out of the door, not looking back once.

She was gone.

Allison walked out onto the street, her bag in tow, without a car she would have to get a cab. She wiped her tears quickly while rushing down the street to get to a busier intersection so she could flag down a taxi.

She didn't have more time to react, to cry. She seemed emotionless, blank. She wasn't exactly sure how she was supposed to feel right now. She broke herself out of her trance and waved her hand up in the air to attract the attention of a vacant cab that was approaching. The driver nodded to her and began to pull over to the sidewalk.

Allison threw her bag in the backseat and sat down as she told the driver her address. Just as she was about to close the door, she saw a familiar face on the street. Kelly. She was looking right at her and was trying to get her attention with a wave. Allison just stared emptily back at the girl she once called her best friend and closed the car door without another glance.

She paid the driver and walked out in front of her building and just stared up at the sky for a moment.

"Just breathe" she told herself, letting out a sigh.

Eventually, she made her way up the stairs to walk into her empty apartment just as she had left it. She left it in love and came back in pieces.

She looked down at her planner for the week; she was supposed to have some interviews around the city tomorrow with her team. And as much as she didn't want to go, she needed to be with people. She didn't want to be alone. That fear was always in the back of her mind. Maybe she would end up alone. With no one by her side.

She brushed those thoughts to the back of her mind and decided right then that she wasn't going to be alone anymore tonight. She took a quick shower and decided that she was going out somewhere tonight. She was going to get her mind off of the mess that was her life. She did her hair, did her makeup, and even picked out a nice dress as she took one final look at the empty place she called home.

She was at least happy that she would be able to pick up her dog from the kennel tomorrow; at least she would have something.

----------

Allison made her way into the club easily, and with a little of a surprise. She hadn't been out clubbing in a while, since way before she started dating Jimmy. And she certainly couldn't remember ever going alone. But, she figured this what she needed to do. That older part of her life was over, maybe she just needed to get out.

She took in the atmosphere around her: loud music, dim lights, countless amounts of people and definitely a lot of alcohol. She walked straight up to the bar, making her way around what seemed like an obstacle course of people, and sat down at a vacant stool. Before she could even open her mouth to order, a man came up beside her.
