Allison woke up the next morning with the worst headache. She slowly stretched as she heard her alarm repetitively beep, and turned it off.
"Oh god..." She mumbled to herself rubbing her eyes, as makeup smeared all over her hands. She forced herself out of bed and felt sick. Not just physically, but because she was starting to remember what happened last night. She was so stupid.
She couldn't think about it for another second, because she was running towards the bathroom as she felt some alcohol making it's way back up again. She coughed as she managed to throw up some of last nights problems into the hotel toilet. Shaking her head, she started the shower, figuring she might feel better if she could get cleaned up.
Getting into the warm water made her feel okay again. She washed her hair and body quickly before drying off and taking a look at the time. She sighed, as she realized she had 45 minutes until the bus would be leaving for back home again.
Allison packed up all her belongings after getting dressed quickly, and brushing out her wet hair. Zipping up her suitcase she made sure she didn't leave anything behind as she grabbed her phone and made her way to the door.
She tried to push open the door completely, but something was in the way. Someone's bag.
Allison pushed the door with more strength, pushing the unknown bag out of her way, as she stepped into the hallway.
Looking down, she saw the unknown bag's owner, sitting to the side of her door.
"Hey..." Jimmy said, getting up from the ground, where he'd been waiting for her, "Can I talk to you?" He asked, hopefully.
"No," She shook her head, trying not to make eye contact with the much taller man, "I can't right now." She mumbled, moving past him and making her way towards the elevator as she hit the elevator button for 'down'.
Jimmy had grabbed his own stuff and caught up to her, waiting for the elevator. Just as he walked up next to her, the doors opened. He followed her inside, and saw there was a few other people going down too, so he decided not to talk.
Everyone shuffled out into the lobby and Allison made a beeline for the restaurant area.
"Can I get a small coffee please?" She asked the man behind the counter, who nodded to her as she paid him for a cup of what she really needed. She had ten minutes to spare before the bus was going to leave, so she thanked the man for the coffee and snagged her cup before heading to the front of the lobby to meet up with everyone.
Allison saw the whole team sitting and waiting for the bus to show up. She remained silent, slowly sipping her coffee with headphones in trying to drown out the pointless conversations happening around her.
"Hey." Joakim greeted, sitting down next to her, "How you feeling?" he asked with a smirk.
"Like shit." She answered, pulling out one of her headphones, "Thanks for helping me last night." She said quietly.
"You know I got your back." Joakim smiled.
"Well just...thanks." She nodded.
"Jimmy's looking for you, ya know?" Joakim said.
"I know," She sniffled, "He tried to talk to me earlier." She shrugged, "I'm so hungover, Jo, I can't deal with that right now."
Joakim laughed slightly, "Yeah, well he keeps lookin over here," Joakim observed, "And two and a half hour bus ride could be the perfect time for you guys to talk it out." He laughed with fake enthusiasm.
