Soobin sighed, opening his phone and started scrolling through Hyuka's pictures. He was finally going to tell him. His soulmate and best friend, who has been there for him since childhood.

He was scared. What if his feelings and confession lead to the end of their friendship ? The thing he adored the most ? Their bond was something so precious that both of them couldn't even imagine having a life without the other person.

He heard the doorbell and hurriedly stood up, rushing to Yeonjun's room.

"hyung hyung !! he's here !! what do i do ?!"

"open the door Soobin ?? He doesn't even know you're at my house...chill-"

"can you please open the door I can't-"

Yeonjun pushed Soobin towards the front door and went to the washroom. Soobin panicked and peeked through the peep hole. His heartbeat fastened on seeing Hyuka. He cleared his throat and opened the door, surprising him.

"oh ? why are you here ?"

"why can't i ??"

"tch..."

Hyuka pushed Soobin and entered inside, grabbing an apple from the basket. Soobin closed the door and stood in front of him, using his phone.

"where are we going tomorrow though ?"

"that's....a secret"

Hyuka gasped, making Soobin look up from his phone screen.

"no way..."

He stepped closer to Soobin and Soobin furrowed his eyebrows, leaning back.

"is this a date ? are you asking me out ? huh...i knew you were head over heels for me"

Soobin blinked his eyes and made a disgusted face.

"in. your. dreams."

"wouldn't they be nightmares then-"

Soobin lifted up his fist, trying to scare Hyuka. But it only resulted in them laughing.

Hyuka winked at Soobin before getting inside the car. Soobin rolled his eyes and got into the driver seat, fastening his seat belt. He turned on the engine and started driving to god knows where.
