"hyung are you sure-"

"I've given you a task Taehyun. And you know I don't like repeating myself"

Taehyun and Hyuka glanced at each other before exiting the palace. They, along with some armed men headed towards the sea to capture a mermaid.

Yeonjun was the king of Moa Land who was given the responsibilities of the crown at 17 due to the sudden death of his parents, murder to be precise. He was told it was either a siren or a mermaid who had killed his parents.

From that moment, he had decided that he would fulfill his dad's last wish. He was now 25, stronger and more powerful.

"that isn't a man!!"

One of the armed men shouted, pointing towards a person walking out of the ocean water, onto the shore. Taehyun and Hyuka nodded at each other and walked towards him, however, they were stopped by Yeonjun.

"hyung ?"

"I'll capture him... I'm sorry for being rude earlier"

"it's alright hyung, you don't have to-"

"these people killed my parents... I can't let them harm my two precious people too"

Yeonjun said, smiling at the two. Even though they were best friends, Taehyun and Hyuka were totally against Yeonjun's decision. Even if a mermaid killed his parents, the past was past. The others didn't deserve to be harmed.

But they had no say in this. They were just the strongest knights of the palace. Yeonjun had made this mission his life motto the day he was crowned.

Yeonjun walked towards the boy who was probably a merman, with his men following him behind. The innocent boy flinched when he saw a group of armed men suddenly surrounding him.

He stood up, dropping the shells from his hands and breathing loudly. The boy didn't look like he had much of an age gap with Yeonjun but that didn't matter to him.

"w-who are you- w-what are you doing-"

Yeonjun nodded at his men. One of the men kicked the boy's back from behind, making him fall on the ground. The boy whimpered and looked up but before he could say anything, another man punched him.

"w-what did I do ?? p-please spare me- I- I apologise, your majesty- p-ple-"

He was dragged backwards with someone tying his hands behind. Yeonjun just started with a cold gaze, his hands behind his back. Yeonjun obviously hated this. He hated hurting others. But the thought of his parents killed all the sympathy he had.

"hyung !!"

Taehyun and Hyuka came running towards him. They pushed the men who were mercilessly beating the poor boy.

"stop it !!"

"you'll kill him !!"

"just take him to the palace and ask him for the favour !! why are you doing this to him ?? he's innocent !!"
