"mom !! I've already told you I don't need anyone !!"

"you do son...just do this for me...please"

And there he was, standing in a creme colour suit, waiting for his soon to be husband. Second husband, to be particular.

Yeonjun was getting married for the second time. His first husband died in a car accident and from that moment, he lost all his happiness, interests and sunshine. His first marriage was arranged but they eventually started falling in love.

He couldn't even convey his true feelings before it got too late. He started distancing himself from everyone and his parents thought, if he started living with someone, maybe he can bring back his old self.

Yeonjun saw the man walking towards him with a smile so delicate that it made Yeonjun's heart soft. He gently smiled back and pulled his hand out in front of him.

Yeonjun knew Beomgyu was forced too since they didn't know each other. He knew Beomgyu would be uncomfortable knowing Yeonjun had been married before but he already warned his mom about it.

It's been four months since they got married and they haven't even kissed since their wedding. Beomgyu was fine with it. He didn't want to force Yeonjun for anything and gave him all the space he needed.

"hyung ! breakfast is ready-"

"oh i have a really urgent meeting to attend...uhm.. I'll just take this, thank you"

Yeonjun picked up a toast from the plate and ran out of the house, leaving Beomgyu alone on the dining table. Beomgyu sighed and ate in silence, thinking how his life turned out like this.

He remembered the conversation he had with Yeonjun's parents before their wedding.

- FLASHBACK -

"please....you have a really nice personality and i just want you to make him happy..."

"and if i fail ?"

"you can...you can divorce him if it doesn't work out or if you can't handle it...but we want you to try..."

Beomgyu thought for some time and talked about this to his parents. His parents told him not to make a rough decision and do what he feels like. They just wanted Beomgyu to be happy.

- END OF FLASHBACK -

He ultimately decided to marry Yeonjun. Thinking he'll be able to fix his heart. But what he realised was, he was breaking his own heart instead. Everyday, he tried to spend time with Yeonjun but Yeonjun didn't like talking to him. And whenever they talked, it was about Joonho, Yeonjun's ex - husband.

Beomgyu wiped his tears and washed the dishes. At night, when Yeonjun came back, he sat down on the table for dinner. Beomgyu decorated the whole table with Yeonjun's favourite food in another attempt at making Yeonjun happy.

"wow...thank you for the meal"

"of course hyung"

Beomgyu smiled, looking at the smile on Yeonjun's face. They started eating silently. Once they were halfway through, Yeonjun finally broke the silence.
