"hyung hyung !! look what i got for you"

Beomgyu hopped in Soobin's room and stood in front of him, showing him the brand new t-shirt he got.

"for me ?"

Beomgyu nodded and Soobin smiled, staring a little too long at Beomgyu. Beomgyu blushed and ran out of the room. Soobin sighed and slapped himself.

'you gotta stop Choi Soobin...you can't just fall in love with your best friend like that...'

Soobin always thought relationships were unnecessary and just a waste of time. He had never fallen in love until he started feeling different for Beomgyu, who was his childhood best friend.

He didn't want to be in a relationship and his feelings made him scared of losing their friendship. He somewhere had a clue that maybe Beomgyu liked him too but he kept denying it to ignore the fact.

"Beomgyu-ah !! come for dinner!!"

"I'm hereee"

Beomgyu walked to the kitchen and sat down on the chair in front of Soobin. They started eating and Soobin fought the urge to ask Beomgyu questions. But of course, being the person he was, he couldn't just keep it in.

"have you ever had a crush ?"

Beomgyu looked up with his boba eyes and mouth stuffed with ramen. Soobin chuckled and asked him to eat first. Beomgyu quickly finished the food in his mouth.

"y-yeah....and you hyung ?"

Soobin paused and stared at the bowl. He looked up at Beomgyu who was still waiting for his answer with hopeful eyes.

"no...you know I'm not into these things.."

"i know...but still...i thought you did..."

"w-why ?"

"no person can live like that hyung... without ever feeling attracted towards anyone..."

"then...do you like someone right now ?"

Beomgyu nodded, playing with the noodles. Soobin bit his lower lip, not wanting to continue any further.

"oh..."

Beomgyu looked up and waited for more questions but Soobin didn't ask anything.

"you don't wanna know who ?"

"let's... let's leave that for another time...i don't talk about these things much...you know that..."

Soobin stood up and went to his room. Beomgyu sighed and went to his room too.

'will he ever like me back...will he ever know...how much i like him...'

The next few days were hell for Soobin. He would feel embarrassed in front of Beomgyu, doing the little things and would stutter the whole time. He wasn't like this before. They were the most comfortable around each other.

"Soobin hyung-"

"oh just shut up !!"

Beomgyu's smile dropped and he stared at Soobin with furrowed eyebrows.
