Taehyun couldn't sleep at all that night.

'how can this happen...why do i feel like we've spent months together ?? what is he doing right now...did he sleep...he must've...'

The next day, Taehyun finished all his work and ran to the beach. It was already dark and there weren't any people around at that time. Taehyun looked for some shells, hoping to find the particular grayish blue he adored.

He sighed and sat down on the sand, looking at the sea. The sound of the waves was so calming for him that he couldn't help but think about what could have happened if Beomgyu was a human.

"do you think we would've met ? does this mean something ? out encounter ? I hope it does..."

Taehyun looked down and waited a few more minutes. He had to force himself to get up, convincing himself that Beomgyu won't be back. He must've already travelled to some other ocean by now.

He stood up and bitterly smiled at the ocean again, slowly walking away. After that day, Taehyun visited the beach every night. He'd go there, talk as if Beomgyu was right beside him and leave with an aching heart.

Sometimes, he'd even cook tteokbokki, pack it in a container and eat it while sitting there. He'd ask Beomgyu to come visit him, in hopes that he'll actually appear in front of him. But he knew he was asking too much.

He was the one who wanted to see him. Maybe, for Beomgyu, Taehyun wasn't the first person he met like this ? Or maybe Beomgyu didn't think much about whatever happened.

Whatever it was, Taehyun was ready to give up and finally move on. For the last time, he sat by the shore, alone in the dark night. He stared at the waves and closed his eyes, enjoying the peaceful night. He opened them again and sighed.

"it's been a month hyung...and i don't know if you still remember me...but i do...and I'll never forget you...we didn't even get to spend two whole days together...but the time that we did, was precious... thank you... I'll carry on alone from now on... I'm letting you go...I can do this right ? I've always been like this then why does it seem so hard..."

Taehyun chuckled, looking down at his feet. He stood up and smiled.

"I love you...Bye"

He turned around and started walking. Just when he was about to step out of the sand, his breathing increased. He turned around and saw the dark blue waves reaching higher than usual. He felt uneasy and looked around, only to realise he was alone, still. He turned back around and started walking.

"Taehyun-ah !!"

Lub-dub. Lub-dub. Lub-dub.
Did he hear it right ? His ears must be ringing. He shook his head without looking around and continued walking.

"Taehyun-ah !!"

This time, it felt too real. He clenched his fists and turned around. His heart was palpitating and his breathing practically stopped when he saw Beomgyu, standing, in front of him. He looked around and then back at Beomgyu.
