Yeonjun cried out, holding onto the doctor's shoulders. Soobin pulled Yeonjun back and made him sit on the bench. A whole day went by and Yeonjun refused to eat anything.

He just kept staring at the operation room door, waiting for his favourite person to walk outside or to call him inside. He wasn't allowed to meet him still and he was dying to atleast see him resting.

"Yeonjun-ssi ?"

All of them stood up when the nurse called out. Yeonjun eagerly waited for the nurse to continue.

"it's m-me !! I'm Choi Beomgyu's husband-"

"i am aware of that...you can see the patient for sometime but before you enter, i must tell you... his body still hasn't responded to the treatments and interaction matters a lot so please be considerate and mindful"

Yeonjun nodded and slowly walked in. Oh how the sharp pieces of his broken heart stabbed him in the chest when he saw the sight of Beomgyu. The person he loved the most in the entire world, or should he say, his entire world was lying on the hospital bed.

His face wasn't glowing like it used to, his smile was nowhere to be found, his pretty eyes were shut close with his long eyelashes that weren't fluttering at him anymore. Yeonjun's chest heaved and he didn't know how to talk.

He opened his mouth but shut it back when words didn't came out. He gently held Beomgyu's hand and caressed it.

"Beomgyu-yah.... b-beom-"

Yeonjun looked down, bursting into tears. He covered his mouth with his other hand to lower his crying sounds.

"I'm sorry... I'm sorry I couldn't be enough for you... I'm sorry you couldn't rely on me.. I- I'm sorry... p-please wake up love... I love you.. I'm sorry if I didn't express it much but... you're the only one I have in this world... and if I have to live without you... I'm sorry.. I can't do that.. I won't be able to... just... just come back to me hm ? we'll go home and watch your favourite movie.. we'll cook together and end up setting the kitchen on fire like we always do... we'll run around and play pillow fight... we'll... we'll have our own b-baby.. please love... I can't do this without you... I love you so much.."

"Yeonjun-ssi ?? Mr. Choi Yeonjun-ssi !!"

Yeonjun looked up and saw the nurse. He stood up and kissed Beomgyu's hand. He then leaned over and pecked Beomgyu's forehead, whispering 'I love you' in his ear. The nurse walked Yeonjun outside and closed the door.

Yeonjun was about to sit on the bench again when he saw Beomgyu's parents. He stood in front of the operation room and clenched his fists.

"who informed them ?"

Yeonjun asked the other three boys. They looked at each other before Hyuka answered.

"probably the nosy neighbours..."

Yeonjun gritted his teeth and waited for them to approach him.

"where's Beomgyu ?"

"which Beomgyu are you talking about miss ? the only Beomgyu i know is my husband"
