Beomgyu was broken and so was Taehyun. None of them could fix whatever happened. Taehyun was hurt that Beomgyu didn't believe him or trust him enough. He blamed himself for not being a good friend.

On the other hand, Beomgyu knew it was his fault. He shouldn't have believed whatever Hinara said that day. He couldn't believe he got so blinded and with what ? Something that wasn't even love ?

He didn't even know what uni Taehyun went to. No one did, except for Taehyun's family and Hyuka and all of them refused to tell him since they didn't want Beomgyu to hurt Taehyun again.

They hoped Taehyun would move on if he was away from all this. Little did they know, the latter longed for the one he loved every day. There wasn't a day when he didn't think about Beomgyu. There wasn't a single second he stopped loving him.

Five Years, and Taehyun was finally coming back to Korea. He was craving, to hear that one voice. He was craving to look at that face. He was craving, to hug that person. Yet, he couldn't.

"oh my dear"

Taehyun's mom hugged him as soon as she saw him. Taehyun hugged her back and tried not to cry. He wiped his tears before anyone could see them and pulled away.

"have you been well ?"

His mother nodded and he met others. Then came Hyuka, barging in through the front door. Taehyun and Hyuka stared at each other for a few seconds before running and jumping into each other's arms.

Taehyun finally broke down, crying on Hyuka's shoulder. Hyuka rubbed his back and painfully smiled, knowing how hard everything was for Taehyun.

They pulled away and went to Taehyun's room to catch up on everything. They only talked about uni and Taehyun's new friends overseas. Hyuka was waiting for Taehyun to ask the question he had been keeping inside from the moment they met.

He knew Taehyun couldn't keep it in for much longer. They fell into an awkward silence and Hyuka flashed a soft smile. Taehyun scratched his palms in nervousness.

"h-how's he ?"

Hyuka looked down and sighed. Taehyun finally asked but he didn't know how to answer.

"I don't know Tae... we only met a few times in uni and he didn't look well... Him and Leana broke up two weeks into uni"

"what ???"

"yeah... and he's changed now... I know Leana's not the reason behind it but I don't know what is"

Hyuka couldn't make eye contact with Taehyun and Taehyun knew he was hiding something.

"Hyuka ?"

"yeah ?"

"look at me"

Hyuka hesitated but looked up.

"what are you hiding ?"

"w-what do you mean..."
