Beomgyu checked the time on his watch and looked around. Still no sign of his boyfriend. He called him again. No answer.

"Choi Beomgyu ?"

"huh ? oh s-sir, good evening"

Beomgyu bowed when he saw his boss, Choi Soobin standing in front of him.

"what are you doing here ?"

"i came to this party with my b-boyfriend... he's not here yet"

"why don't you come with me ? I'm going there too"

"uhm.."

Beomgyu thought about it. He didn't know where his boyfriend was or whether he was coming or not. And this wasn't the first time he was doing this. Beomgyu knew he wouldn't come if he was ignoring his calls.

It was better to have someone by your side rather than walking inside alone. He bit his lower lip and slowly nodded.

Soobin pulled Beomgyu's arm and held his hand, startling him. Beomgyu's body was trembling and he was out of breath. They walked inside with their hands intertwined.

"I'll go get us something...you can wait there"

Soobin said shouting to make sure Beomgyu heard it despite the loud music there. Beomgyu nodded and walked towards a table. He heard a familiar voice and walked closer to the table from where it was coming.

"you wanna come with me tonight...at my place ?"

"yes handsome"

Beomgyu's eyes pricked with tears when he saw his boyfriend, making out with a girl and a few other girls gathered around him.

"Y-YOU ASSHOLE !!"

Beomgyu shouted, making them flinch. His boyfriend stood up and started defending himself.

"b-beomgyu it's not what you think it is...i was waiting for you and she started flirting with me...i-i didn't do anything-"

"STOP LYING TO MY FACE !!!"

Beomgyu yelled between his sobs and tears. The people around started staring at them. His boyfriend tried hugging Beomgyu but Beomgyu pushed him.

"don't touch me !! it's over !! i don't wanna see you ever again-"

"what do you think ? i wanna see you ?? i never even liked you... you were too innocent for me and I'm not even interested in your gay ass-"

Beomgyu slapped him, making him stumble backwards. He held his stinging cheek and looked at Beomgyu with disbelief. He stepped forward, lifting his hand up to hit Beomgyu.

"You bast-"

Beomgyu just stood there, waiting to be hit. He widened his eyes when he saw someone punch him from the side, making him fall.

"s-sir ??"

Beomgyu tried to stop Soobin from punching him to death. He started crying more, requesting Soobin to stop.

"p-please"

Soobin turned to look at Beomgyu and saw tears in his eyes. His heart softened and he stood up, wiping his hands off his coat. Being Soobin's secretary, Beomgyu knew how short tempered Soobin was and his anger is not something anyone can deal with.
