"Here's the information on your.. hopefully not the last case"

Taehyun just smiled and took the file from his manager's hand. He turned around and went to his office. He sat down and opened the file after taking a long breath.

He was a detective and so far, he has never lost any case he has investigated. He loved his job but he was tired of dealing with these people. However, his view completely changed the moment he saw the face of the murderer he was going to deal with.

He stared at the face of probably the most handsome person he has ever seen. He didn't know if it was just the picture or he actually looked like that.

"He could be a model or actor with this face... what is he doing"

Taehyun mumbled to himself, turning the page over. He started reading the information about the person and noticed how his family was 'Unknown'. As far as Taehyun knew, he was one of the most wanted murderers in their country and he has been doing it for almost six years, yet nothing about his family?

He turned the pages, going through the pictures attached with the file. If he was being honest, he was a bit surprised by his captivating looks but he had to tell himself that he was a murderer and now that Taehyun was holding that file, they were rivals.

"It'll be fun meeting you... Choi Beomgyu"

Taehyun loosened his tie while walking through the front door. He sat on the couch and released a heavy sigh. It was a tiring day but he wasn't getting any rest soon. He stood up again and walked towards the dining table, pouring two glasses of water.

"I know you're here... how about we skip the hide and seek part?"

Taehyun said, still focusing on pouring the water. He hadn't switched the lights on and the room was only shining with the street lamps reflections. He noticed everything that wasn't in place like he had left before, for example, the frames on the cabinet were slightly shifted.

He heard footsteps behind him and turned around only to meet eyes with the person he was simping on earlier- INVESTIGATING*

They were now face to face. Taehyun noticed how Beomgyu was wearing an all black outfit just like he had imagined. His hair was styled up with some of the bangs falling over the side. His face looked smooth yet fierce. His hands were empty but Taehyun knew he was hiding a gun and probably a knife behind his black jacket. He was a detective after all.

He noticed how Beomgyu's eyes were examining him just like he did. None of them said anything so Taehyun turned around and picked up the two glasses.

"I made you wait long... have some water"

Taehyun had already chugged down the glass and Beomgyu smirked.

"I wouldn't have drunk that if I was you.."

Taehyun internally cursed himself. He was so thirsty, he didn't think that Beomgyu had probably mixed something in the water. He tried to stay calm and play it cool. He shrugged his shoulders and kept the glasses back.
