"hyung !! you always do this !! do you not love me anymore ??"

"no love, listen to me... I'm on my way ok ? there's a lot of traffic but I'll try to reach as fast as i can...eat your dinner and sleep if you're tired-"

"NO !! i want to eat with you"

"ah...ok I'll be there"

Yeonjun sighed, tossing the phone on the seat. Soobin was 5 months pregnant and he was already getting sulky and moody. He didn't mind it though. He loved pampering him. He was rarely late and always reached before time but the traffic was stopping him.

He noticed a cotton candy vendor and got off his car to buy some for Soobin, knowing he loved it. Just when he got back, the traffic moved and he was relieved he could finally meet his husband.

As soon as he reached the stairs, he smelled something weird. He tried guessing what it was and widened his eyes when he realised something was burning. He hurried up the stairs and smashed the password to the door.

He entered inside and saw smoke all over the living room and kitchen.

"Soobin ?? love are you fine ?? oh god"

He turned off the stove and opened the windows to let the smoke out. Once it was clear, he saw Soobin peacefully sleeping on the couch with his baby bump moving up and down along with his breaths.

He sighed in relief and walked towards him, crouching down on the floor. He stared at Soobin for a while before Soobin opened his eyes.

"you're late !"

"I'm so sorry love...i promise i left the office on time but there was a lot of traffic"

Soobin pouted and looked away, not wanting to talk to Yeonjun.

"i got you cotton candy...you like it right ?"

Soobin glared at Yeonjun and then at the packets Yeonjun was holding. He smiled and nodded. Yeonjun chuckled at his cuteness and opened it for him.

"i won't be late again... I'm sorry"

"it's ok... I'm hungry...i made some ramen for us while waiting"

"oh... about that....okay...you stay here and I'll serve it"

Yeonjun stood up and cleaned the mess that was created earlier. He knew Soobin couldn't smell or taste things properly because of the effects of pregnancy which was also the reason the ramen turned out all black. This was Yeonjun's first time seeing burnt ramen.

He quickly cooked some more and served for both of them. He took the bowls to the living room and sat down beside him.

"I've decided to stay at home now"

"huh ? why ?"

"because you need me...your bump is already so big so it might be hard for you"
