While looking at the mirror, I straightened down my dress and sighed.

I was wearing a knee-length white dress with small strawberries on it. I thought I was looking great until I looked at my arms and legs.

They were scattered in scars.

I quickly shaked my head to not think of the scars but the voices in my head made it hard.

So I ended up covering them with a lot of foundation but it was worth it. I finally looked presentable. I guess.

I brushed my hair and sat on the couch, patiently waiting for Elliot. He said he will pick me up despite my protests.

I was reading a book when suddenly my phone rang.

I saw it was Elliot and picked it up.

"Hey tesoro. I'm outside your apartment. Come whenever you are ready, I will be waiting."

"Okay." I said, before hanging up.

When I got down, I saw Elliot leaning beside his car.

He was wearing a pair of denim jeans with a high neck, full-sleeve black t-shirt.

I walked up to him as he looked up. He scanned me from head to toe, making me slightly uneasy. So I greeted him first.

"Hi Elliot."

"Hello tesoro. You look beautiful."

I wonder what tesoro means.

The tip of my ears turned red since I'm not used to getting compliments.

"T-thank you. You look great too."

"Thank you, love. Let's go then, yeah?" I nodded but still didn't know where we were going so I asked him, "Where are we going?"
