Jealous much?

I paused, staring at her. What did she mean by.. 'Even me?' She always goes on about how I belong to her, so I wonder what caused this slip up.

Akito stared at me, waiting for a response. "You've made it very clear I'm yours." I stated, my face slightly heating up at that sentence.

"It doesn't seem like it.." She grumbled. "Woah, what?" I questioned, watching as she looked away from me. "What do you mean? I haven't done anything to anger you, have I?" Raising an eyebrow, I crossed my arms.

"That girl.."

Akito started.

From those two little words, I already knew who she was talking about.

"Emi and I met due to working in the same place. Nothing more." I explained, not telling her we were friends just for the sake of Emi.

"You two are already using nicknames? You must be really close." She snarled.

I sighed and leaned my head back onto the wall before being pulling into Akito's lap. "Am I wrong, Y/n?" She whispered in my ear. The chills I felt were unreal.

"You are."

"Is that so? According to Madam.. you've been inviting her to your room." She hummed as I silently groaned.

What does that old lady have against me??

Akito held my waist as she rested her chin on my shoulders. How do I keep getting my self into this? It's always unintentional too.

"Hey.. I've got a question." I started as she hummed. "Why do you.. keep doing this?" I asked, referring to her constantly having her hands all over me. "You've been really touchy lately." I added.

"Because.. I can." She responded. "What a childish answer." I deadpanned. She didn't reply.

"Then.. are you jealous?"

We both got silent for a second.

"Is that why you're so worried about Emi?" I asked. She looked away, refusing to make eye contact.

"You're dismissed." Akito stated quietly, but was still holding on to my waist.

I sighed and stared at her a bit before getting up. "I'll be here with your food in about thirty minutes. I'm hoping for an answer when I get back." I added.

Akito remained silent as I left the room. I closed the door and began to walk, spacing out.

She was definitely blushing. But that did have me thinking.. when she said 'even me..' could she have meant it in that way?

I stopped walking before I started blushing myself. Nah, she couldn't have meant it like that. At least I hope. That would be so out of character, even for her.

That could be a reason she hasn't been having outbursts lately. I remember her mentioning being nicer as to not loose me.

In a way it felt like she just didn't want to be alone, but enjoyed tormenting me alongside that.

I headed to the kitchen, getting ready to prepare a meal for her when I came across Emi.

We turned to see Madam who was closely by then looked back at each other. I assumed she had a talk with her as well. So, we just gave each other a quick smile and went back to work.

I wanted to talk to her so badly! But I wouldn't want Akito and madam to separate us some how.

Time went on and I eventually finished Akito's meal. I settled with the simple curry. It wasn't too spicy nor too bland. I'd say it was perfect considering how not so good I am at cooking.

I guess being a maid has expanded my skills.

Setting the plate on a tray, I headed to Akito's room. I knocked with my foot since my hands were occupied.

I walked inside and placed her tray in front of her.

"You got your answer?" I tilted my head as she didn't reply. She began eating as I sat back down next to her. It was quiet. I didn't know what to say, but it wasn't awkward. Well, not that much anyways.

After a while, she finished eating without giving me an answer. I wasn't gonna pressure her, so I let it go.

I grabbed her tray and started heading out before she stopped me.

"Y/n." She said sternly, grabbing onto my wrist. "What's up," I asked her as she stood up, staring down at me.

Her face held an expression I couldn't read. She snatched the tray from me and threw it to the side of her room. Startled by this, I was about to go and pick it up before she stopped me once again. "Hey, what's the matter? Do you want me to get Hatori?" I asked quickly.

Was Akito about to have a fit? Maybe I was pushing my luck being around her so much.

I was taken to her bed. "Talk to me, Master
Ak—" She covered my mouth as there was a knock on the door.

"Akito, are you in there?" It was madam. "We need to talk, it is quite urgent." She added. Akito's hand was still over my mouth as she glared at the door.

There was silence. Eventually, madam went away and Akito uncovered my mouth.

"What was that about?" I asked as she ran a hand through her hair and sighed. "You're always asking questions, for once, just be quiet." She spat as I rolled my eyes and stood up before quickly being pushed back down. "Why do you keep holding me hostage?" I crossed my arms as she furrowed her eyebrows.

"Right, no more questions." I mumbled, looking away.

She stood in front of me, staring down into my eyes. "To answer your question earlier, I am not jealous." She started as I gave her a look that read, 'You sure?'

Akito glared. "But you should know better. If you belong to me, that means you must be loyal to me and only me." She explain as she leaned down to cup my face before reaching out and pulling my hair, making me look up at her.

"Do you understand, Y/n?" She raised an eyebrow. I quickly nodded. Akito gripped harder. "Words." She ordered. "Y-yes." I replied as she gave a smirk. " 'Yes' what?"

"Yes— Master Akito."
