30 minutes has passed since Hatori sent you back to your room. It hasn't been cleaned since Momiji came, so you decided that's what you'd do to keep yourself busy.
After cleaning, you did a little unpacking as well and even moved your rooms furniture around. This took you about 2 hours. Once you finished, you placed both of your hands on your hips, satisfied with how your work paid off.
You sat down and was then on your phone for another hour, that's when you heard a knock. You walked over and opened the door, only to see Hatori standing there with some pills and a glass of water.
"Hey Tori, what's this for?" You asked, with a bit of concern on your face. You didn't take medication, so why is he giving it to you??
"I'm sure you're aware of the situation from earlier, so I'm trying to give it some time before confronting Akito." He handed you the pills and water. "Could you please go and give this to her?" He asked.
You then nodded, now understanding your task. "Sure, I got you." You started to heard out the room as Hatori thanked you.
You sighed as you held the cup and pills, wondering if Akito was still upset.
Not before long, you were standing infront of Akito's door. You knocked and it was silent. You knocked again, louder this time and there was still no answer.
"...I'm coming in." You said, opening the door. Akito was on her futon, sleeping. You looked at her face, it was peaceful. "Wow, must be tiring being a brat huh?.." you whispered to yourself.
You put the pills and water beside her and left. "I guess I'll come back later then." As you headed to your room, you crossed madam.
She looked at you and crossed her arms. "What were you doing in Akito's room?" She asked. You rolled your eyes. "I was doing an errand. Mind your own damn business." You mumbled the last bit.
"What was that?" She asked, raising her voice a little. "Nothing ma'am." You said with a fake smile.
You went to your room and laid in your bed. Deciding to take a short nap. Only 30 minutes passed when you heard yelling from outside of you door.
You sat up and ruffled your hair. "The hell.." you stood up and went over to see what was happening. As soon as you stepped out, a few maids saw you. "Y/n!! Oh thank goodness." A maid said. "We really need your help. Akito is having a tantrum and Hatori isn't here!" Another maid chimed in.
"Ahaha.." you chucked nervously. They looked at you confused. "See, I'm not trained in that profession." You said, not wanting to have to see what she was like durning a fit.
"But we REALLY need you right now y/n!" They said. You sighed and gave in. "Okay.. fine." You mumbled, already regretting your agreement.
As they walked you over to her room. You heard yelling from the inside. You opened the door and maids rushed out in a hurry, you saw Akito who looked a mess. The glass you put in there earlier was now smashed and the pills were thrown to who knows where.
"Uhm, mast-"
"SHUT UP Y/N, GET OUT, ALL OF YOU!!" Akito yelled. God you wanted to leave so bad.
You closed the door behind you and went over to Akito. "Why are you yelling?? What's wrong?" You asked, trying to be calm.
"IT DOESN'T MATTER, I WANT YOU TO GET OUT!" She continued to yell, it was very annoying, but you tried to be rational. "Akito, please tell me what's wrong." You muttered, walking up to her.
It looked like her eyes were beginning to water. Seems like she's the type to cry when she gets angry. She didn't even seem to care when you called her by name.
She eventually sat on the ground and hugged her knees like she did last time. She had began mumbling to herself. You sat down next to her and remained quiet.
20 minutes passed and she was still going. You looked over at her then you looked at the ground.
Time passed and she was done and was just sitting here.
"Are you gonna tell me what's wrong now?" You asked in a calm voice. She stayed quiet.
"Did it have to do with whatever Hatori told you this morning?" You asked another question, looking at her. You saw her face slightly flinched when you said that.
"So it is.." you hummed. "I never said that." Akito said in a raspy tone. "But you're talking now huh?.." you chuckled. "That doesn't even make sense.." she spat, looking away angrily.
"Please talk to me, why did you throw the pills?" You then asked. "Why do you care so damn much.." she mumbled, now getting annoyed.
"Because I care about you." You said. We're you fooling yourself? Maybe. But it wasn't completely a lie. By the tiniest bit, you did care for her.
She looked up and stared at you. You smiled and put up jazz hands. "Surprise. I'm not that mean, I have feelings you know." She then sighed and looked back down, thinking it was too good to be true.
You looked at her. "Why won't you just sa-"
"Hatori keeps giving me these.. pills. When they are really just placebos" she glared off into the distance. "They aren't going to charge the fact that I'm sick. I'll just die anyways." She said.
"You won't die. It's just a work in progress. Give it time. Placebos or not, you shouldn't have so little faith that you won't get better." You said. She stared. "You don't understand, so don't even bother." She hugged her knees tighter.
"I don't understand, but I want to try. Hatori is doing everything in his power to ensure your health, the least you could do is.. maybe Respect him a bit." You said, quickly regretting it and expecting Akito to get upset with you. But she didn't.
"I'm the family head, that means I can do what I want." Her smart remark made you glare at her. "So what? What are you getting by breaking things and not taking your medicine?" You asked. She got quiet.
"Hatori works his ass off for you and this is really how you repay him?" You continued, you tried to be nice and comfort Akito, but what's the point if she literally doesn't care in the end?
You then stood up and went to pick up the broken glass. She stood up and was about to walk over to you before you shot a glare at her. "Sit down."
"Y/-"
"I have to pick up the glass, I don't want you getting hurt." You saved yourself. She sat down where she once was as you looked back to the floor and you heart heated fast in excitement.
'I just told her what to do and she listened! I'm so badass!' You thought to yourself. But after that statement you felt cringe.
Once you were done, you left to throw the glass away. You saw some maids looking at you and whispering. "She Isnt hurt?.." one said. "I heard so much yelling, I wonder if Akito silenced her." Another said. You sighed and walked back inside of the room where you saw akito looking at you.
You looked down at her huddled body. "What?"
"Nothing."
You walked over to the window, opening it. She looked over. "You hungry?" You asked, looking outside.
She nodded, but you weren't facing her, so she spoke. "Yes." She said quietly. "Let me guess, just plain rice?" You asked with a chuckle. "Actually, I'll have something different. Surprise me." She mumbled.
Your eyebrows lifted as you looked at her. Her aura felt different. Maybe she just needed someone to put her in her place after such a fit.
You walked out to prepare the food for both you and Akito. You came back around 10 minutes later with the plates. "Here you are." You said with a smile.
