As you could imagine, those next few hours with Akito were suffocating. She would absolutely not let me leave.
I tried distracting myself by cleaning areas in her room. Folding laundry, organizing book shelves, just anything to get my mind off of earlier.
Akito was sitting by her window like she'd normally do. We weren't talking. I liked it that way since it was already awkward in here. After I finished cleaning her closet, I closed the door and turned to look at her. Unfortunately I had to break the silence.
"It's almost dinner time.. I should head out to make your supper." I informed her. She turned to look at me for a second. "Anything specific you want me to make?"
"Make whatever." She kept her response short and simple. I nodded and quickly left her room, expecting her to say that. I was just happy to get out. That got me thinking of how I was supposed to meet up with Emi later on. Though technically now was later on.
I made Akito's food and headed back to her room with the tray. I walked inside and placed it on her table.
She looked at me then at the door of her room, nonverbally allowing me to leave. I smiled and left. "Finally, I can go and see Emi now." I muttered to myself.
It was around 7pm at this time, so hopefully she wouldn't be mad. Once I arrived to her room, I softly knocked. "Come in!" I heard her yell. I opened the door and sighed. "Y/n! Where have you been girl?" Emi asked. She was sitting on her crocheting like an old grandma.
I plopped onto her bed. "You won't believe my day." I groaned. "I won't! People spotted you going somewhere with that Sohma boy." She smirked and nudged my shoulder.
"Please. He's still in high school." I stated. "Ah." She laid down next to me, continuing crocheting. I looked over. "What are you making anyways?.." I asked her. Her eyes lit up. "I've been waiting for you to ask. It's a beanie!" She replied.
With in an instant, she shot up to show me. "How cute. It even has little cat ears." I smile, reaching to touch them.
Emi smiled. "Thank you, thank you. This hot weather now is just a front. But it's gonna get cold soon." She explained as she put the unfinished beanie on my head. "It kind of suits you!" She complimented as I gave a grin. "You think?" I asked, looking into her mirror and striking a pose.
She chuckled before pausing. "Hey, you had something to tell me, right?" She looked over at me. I nodded.
"I got laid. By Akito." I said bluntly while fixing the beanie. Emi went quiet. Then out of nowhere, she yelled.
"YOU WHAT???" Her eyes widened. "Mhmmm." I began to blush thinking about it. She was in complete shock. "Wh— How?! Why??!" She placed her hands on my shoulder and began shaking me for answers which caused me to chuckle.
I looked away for a second then back at her. "Punishment I guess. Though technically I enjoyed it." I snickered. Emi gagged at my response.
"Damn, what do I have to do to get laid by him? You must have done something very naughty!~" Emi reached for my waist and begun tickling me. Caught of guard by this interaction, I started laughing.
She grinned watching me laugh, causing her to only tickle me more. "W-wait!! Please!" I had tears in my eyes from laughing so much.
Emi finally released me and started giggling along with me. "Honestly though! What did you do?" She questioned.
I breathed heavily, still recovering from her tickle attack. "Remember that 'Sohma boy'?" I looked at her. She gave a small nod. "Akito saw me sneaking out of the main house with him." I stated.
"Ooooh, he must have been jealous!~" She teased as I rolled my eyes. More like possessive. But I'd be lying if I said I kinda didn't like it..
Actually, I've been wanting to tell Emi Akito is actually a girl, but would she keep her mouth shut? Part of me— well, most of me thinks she would, but there's always that small bit of doubt.
I sighed and looked out of her window. It was a little dark out, but surprisingly, I could see Akito's window from here.
There was someone behind her. I couldn't make out the figure, but it was definitely a man. I squinted my eyes before i figured out who it was.
