I looked down and sighed. The other two doing the same. "Look. This.. might be the last time we see each other for a while." I stated. We all frowned at the thought.
"Akito is unpredictable. He could allow you to visit again." Kyo put out. "Maybe." Yuki muttered. "But unlikely." I added with a saddened smile.
I bawled up my fists. "But I'll try. And if I don't succeed, I'll just annoy the hell out of him." I snickered, causing Kyo and grin a bit and Yuki to chuckle.
Yuki, Kyo, and I made our way downstairs to see Akito standing outside by the front yard of the house. Shigure was inside. "You boys go and say bye to Akito." He smiled.
They groaned and made their way outside. I softly chuckled before looking at Shigure. "And how have you been, Y/n?" He tilted his head. "Uhm.. I've been good! Fine.. yeah." I gave him two thumbs up. "Living with Akito's gotta be hectic. I couldn't imagine having to be around during that." He laughed.
But you can be around during something else.
"Yeah, He gets pretty crazyy." I muttered. Has it always been this hard to hold a conversation with Shigure for this long?
The way he was all smiles, it made me realize how I've only ever seen two sides of him. This side.. and the side from the other night. "Yeah, she does get really crazy." He looked down at me with a smirk. I glanced up at him. Does he know that I know Akito's a girl? I never told him—
He then leaned down to my ear. "Your composure says it all, you know? You saw me and Akito that night, didn't you?" He hummed.
"So what if I did?" I asked him. He chuckled a bit. "I'm just saying. I can see you have some kind of visual attraction to her." He stated. My eyes slightly widened. "Akito is head of the Sohma clan, and the Zodiac god. Don't think for a second you have a chance." He leaned up then smiled.
"Just joking of course!" He smiled as Akito shouted my name. I glared at Shigure and left the house.
Just who does he think he is? I don't even like Akito! But if I don't.. why am I so upset over this? It's just making me even angrier.
After saying my goodbyes to Yuki and Kyo, I got in the car with Akito.
"I'd thought you'd be more happy. Considering I took you to see your little friends." She spread her legs, leaning down in her seat. I sighed softly. "I am happy. Thank you." I bowed my head to her then looked out the window.
Akito stared at me. "Y/n." She called out. "What?" I glared a bit, just wanting her to leave me alone. She tilted her head, with a both frustrated and confused expression.
"What's the matter with you?" She asked angrily. How do I somehow always make her mad?
"Nothing is wrong." I stated. "You never look this upset after seeing one of those brats." She said, referring to Yuki and Kyo. I squinted my eyes and stared at her. "Why do you even care?" I groaned, dramatically falling down in my seat. "Because I brought you here so you'd be a little happier."
She glanced down at me as I was now lying on the seat. I didn't respond. "I guess kindness only gets you so far, huh?" Akito huffed. I sighed.
"Look, it wasn't you— I actually am happy you brought me there." I replied.
"Then who spoiled your mood? I was supposed to do that later." She joked and crossed her arms. I rolled my eyes in annoyance. "I'm gonna stop answering you now."
