This was the first time I didn't wake up to constant banging on my door from madam. I've been in my room all day and no one has bothered me. It was nice in a way, but I knew I couldn't stay mopping like this.
After hours of staying in my room, I finally decided to get up and do something with myself. I got changed into my uniform and walked to my door. Opening it, I saw a familiar blonde: Momiji.
He stared at me with that adorable smile of his. "Hello, Y/n!" He cheesed. I couldn't help but smile as well from his shiny presence. "Hey, Momiji. What are you doing here? Isn't it a school day?" I asked, stepping aside as he walked in.
He shook his head, his arms resting behind his back. "It's winter break!" Momiji replied. I sighed. "I've been staying here too long." I mumbled, scratching my head. He chuckled at my response.
"Hatori called me over to come and see you!" He started. I blinked, sitting down on my desk chair. 'How nice of him.' I thought in my head.
He was always there to calm things down when they came too much for both me or Akito to handle. I took note that I would stop by his office to thank him. "I'm glad! I've really missed you." I replied, leaning my head on my hand as my elbow rested on the desk.
Momiji took a seat on my bed. "I have as well!" He put out before not saying anything for a moment. I stared at him, also silent when he opened his mouth again.
"I also.. heard there was a fight with Akito." He put his hands together on his lap. Of course Hatori must have told him that also. "Yeah, I'd prefer if we didn't talk about that right now." I chuckled awkwardly. Momiji nodded understandingly. "That's okay! But I'd still like to know if you're alright at least." He expressed, slightly grinning.
Genuinely laughing, I gave Momiji a nod."I'm okay. Thank you for checking in on me."
There was comfortable silence before Momiji spoke up. "The new year's banquet is coming up! I heard Akito's allowing you to attend." He clapped his hand together. "Yes, though I'm not so sure now that's looking right now." I mumbled, hugging as I leaned back in my seat.
"Well, let's say you are going, hypothetically! It'll be really fun. Hatsuharu is performing this year, it's going to be great!" Momiji expressed. I blinked, staring at him. "Like a dance?" I asked. He nodded, causing me to laughed a bit. "That'll be fun to see." I mumbled as he snickered along with me.
