I laid in bed for a while and decided to take a small nap considering I wasn't in my right state. Times like this, I would go to the beach..

..I'm going to the beach.

The rain died down a little bit and I just left my house considering I had nobody at home, and if I did they would probably send me back to school. So, I'd rather just hang out at the forgotten beach where nobody would find me.

See, the thing about that beach..it's sort of different. It has every color of every seashell just lying there on the surface of the sand as if something had put it there. Indeed something did. The waves, the current. Those shells are hard to come by, shells like these are often found in the depths of the sea. I guess that's why I like this beach so much.

It's so unique.

I made my way over to the beach, being captivated by the sweet aroma of the ocean water, and the softness of the sand against my toes. I sat down on the bench that was nailed into the shore and let the cold water surround my feet as I heard someone walking towards me.. "Mind if I take a seat?" A blonde boy asked. This boy looked very familiar..as If I've seen him before. "Hey do you go to Mill ridge high?" I asked as I scooted over allowing the presence of this boy next to me. "Yeah, I'm a senior there. And you?" He asked as he took a seat.

"Same as you. What're you doing here?" I was pretty sure I was the only one who still comes to this beach considering it's vacancy. "I think I can ask you the same." His accent was so thick, a bit thicker then Michael's. "I just..skipped. I got bored and came here." I shrugged and looked out at the water. "I skipped too. People were annoying me..same ol' same ol'." He chuckled. "Do you usually come here?" I turned my head and made eye contact with me. "I do. Mostly at night because it's easier to sneak out when it's late." So me and this boy have been coming to the same beach for however long..and not noticed each other once? It seems a bit bewildering. "I come here at night too.." I cocked my head in confusion. "I've never seen you." He chuckled. "Anyway. I'm Lily." I stuck my hand out for him to shake it. "Luke." He greeted.
