Luke and I ditched school that morning and decided to go to his house instead. His parents wouldn't be home, maybe his brothers but who cares about that anyway. Luke and I rode our bikes to his house and brought it in his garage. "Do you still have that surprise in the tree you were telling me about?" I asked getting out of the garage with him. "I do." He said walking with me. "TAKE ME TO IT, PETER PAN." I laughed running to his yard. "HOP ON MY BACK AND I'LL TAKE YOU TO NEVERLAND, WENDY." He laughed. I ran back towards him and watched as he crouched. I jumped on his back and he pulled me up in a better position. "Make sure you don't drop me." I said laughing. "Don't worry. Wouldn't dream of it." He said taking off to his backyard. He ran through to the gate that led there, lifted up the hatch and ran in. "Dude your yard is huge."

"I know." He said now walking. "Are we going in there?" I said pointing to the almost forest like, garden. "Yeah. And if you play close attention, you might see Tinker Bell." He said whispering. I let out a mere chuckle and he started running again. "There she is! Come here Tink!" Clearly we were playing some sort of peter pan game. I jumped off his back and started running in front of him. "Stop!" He yelled. I stopped running and looked back at him. "What?" I asked. "Look up." He said. I looked up and saw a gi-fucking-normous tree house. "Dude." I said. "And that, is the ship." He said.

I automatically ran towards the ladder that lead up to the treehouse and I climbed it faster then I've ever climbed anything. "Slow down there, Wendy." Luke laughed as he followed from behind.  I got to the house and I looked around. This was everything I've ever wanted as a kid but never got. "Can we trade lives?" I laughed. "I would in a heartbeat. I don't know what's going on, but I know I would trade places just so you could be happy." What he said really made me happy.

"That was really sweet." I said hugging him. I ran towards the steering wheel he had in the front of the treehouse and started steering it. "I wish I had this." I laughed sighing. "What's mine is yours." He said going behind me and putting his hands over mine on the steering wheel. I blushed to myself and released the steering wheel and turned to face him. "You have pretty eyes." I said looking into them. "So do you." He said with his arms still extended over me, rested on the wheel. I moved away from him and went back down on the grass. "Stop there I wanna give you something." He said coming down the ladder. I waited there and he walked towards me. "Close your eyes." He said. I closed my eyes and I felt his presence be barely in front of me. He put something on my neck. "Open your eyes." He said. I opened my eyes and saw Luke standing in front of me. "Look down." I looked at my neck and saw a small seashell pendant clipped onto the necklace.

"You didn't have to." I said smiling and holding onto it.

"I know..but I wanted to." He smiled.
