I went home that night and I slept in my own bed after so long. I guess you could say I slept like a baby. I've done so much running around, and crying and being happy, and going to New York that I'm so relieved to be back. But before I reached my bed, I went down by the closed off shore and picked up a seashell. Who was gonna tell me not too? Nobody.

That morning, I took a shower, ate my breakfast, and went up and got the seashell from my room and came back downstairs. "I'm going to Luke's!" I yelled. "Okay, be careful!" Dad called out. I walked out of the house and the sun had finally started to set in. The rain stopped, gloomy weather turned into happy weather and I was finally able to take my bike out. I hopped on, and rode it down to Luke's house.

I got to Luke's house finally and his mom pulled me over to the side. "His muscles and joints are really hurting him today..the pain is setting in so be careful with him..okay honey?" She said softly. "Of course." I smiled running up the stairs to his room.
I made my way into his room, quitely enough hoping that I wouldn't disturb him for he might be sleeping. I clutched the slightly teal and purple seashell tightly in my hand as I made my way over to his mini bed side table. I looked over to him...for he had the most innocent look on his face. He didn't deserve what happened to him. I looked down at the seashell in my hand, only to observe that the seashell matched the colors on his face quite perfectly...my poor Luke. Only deserved nothing but the world, if not more. None less. I set the seashell down quietly and started making my way to the door. "Lily." He groaned softly, opening his purple eyelids. "What's the matter, Luke?" I rushed over to his side immediately.
"The seashell."The softness of his voice made me almost too eager to cry. I could barely look at this boy. "What about it?" I crouched down to my knees along side his bed and stared at the injured boy. "It's beautiful." He softly said. "But I don't want it." He flipped over on his side and stared back at me..grimly with his black and blue eyelids. "Why not?" I frowned. "Because. It's only special if I give you the seashells."
I couldn't help but smile softly. He groaned really loudly. "FUCK." He yelled. "I can't see you like this..what's hurting, Luke?" I rubbed his arm. "My body." He scrunged his face up and groaned. I went over to him and lay down next to him. He automatically flipped over and started kissing me a thousand times. "Thank you for always being here for me." He groaned. "I'm your girlfriend. It's my job." I said stroking his arm gently. "I love you.." He said. "I love you more."
