I crossed my arms and headed down the sunny path that lead me away from Michael's house with my suitcase. I think it's time I go back home. I feel bad that I left my mom home with him. As bad I want him out...I don't know man I guess I'm torn. I wanna leave so fucking bad. Like, run away. But I can't and it sucks. Luke's car pulled up and I waved goodbye to Michael. I put my suitcase in the trunk of his car, got into the passenger seat and closed the door. It had been pretty late and I didn't really want Luke driving me home this late considering I knew how much he hated it. But he insisted..
"You didn't have too. I don't like you driving this late at night." I said laying back onto the soft cushiony seat. "Yeah I know but I felt bad. Plus, I wouldn't want you walking home alone at two in the morning so.." He said steering into my neighborhood. "It's not a long walk." I chuckled. "There are weirdoes everywhere. And you're my girlfriend so I wouldn't let you walk home alone." He said turning his head and giving me a cheesy smile and giggling. "God I love you- your smile.." I said awkwardly turning my head. He looked at me and chuckled.
"Say it again." He said smiling. "No I just embarrassed myself." I pouted. "It's impossible to make a fool out of yourself. You're adorable. Just say it again." He said pulling up to the front of my house. "Goodnight Luke." I said leaning over and giving him a quick peck on his lips. I climbed out of the car and he followed, unlocking the trunk and taking my suitcase out. I smiled and took the suitcase out of his hands. I started walking off before he put his hand out and reached for my shoulder. "Do me a favor?" He asked. "Sure what?" I asked turning back. "Say what you said in the car again." He blushed clearly through the dim street lights. "I love your smile." I cleared my throat and spoke clearly. "No. You didn't say that." There was no getting myself out. He heard what I said..
"I said I love you." I said looking down and pursing my lips. "You did?" He said raising my face slightly by my chin. "Yeah but I didn't mean to say those exact words.." I said scrunging up my nose. "I know when you're lying to me." He said bopping my nose. "How." I asked. "You do that cute little thing with your nose." He said smiling. "Know that I love you more. I've always did. I knew that I was going to, before I properly met you anyways." He said holding onto both of my hands. "I adore everything about you. And I simply love you." He said. I couldn't help but smirk and chuckle. "And for the record.." He said pulling out something from his back pocket..
I didn't second guess what it was anyways.
"Here's a seashell." He said handing it to me and smiling. "I love you.." I said hugging him. "I love you too, Lily."
