So I meet this boy and suddenly he tells me we've been coming to the same beach as each other all this time? It's a little mind boggling..I mean, I'm pretty sure I would've seen him. I guess not?
I spend a few minutes with him before I decided to go back home and spend the rest of my time in my bed with my pillows, and the nice soothing radio. I really had nothing to do, nothing to say, nothing at all. So I just sat there and listened to my music. I got comfortable and laid down and began to close my eyes before I heard a loud chiming sound..
..my doorbell.
I groaned and got out of bed, slugging over and racing down the stairs, sliding across the floor with my socks and opened the door. Only to find the strange blue eyed boy from earlier at the beach. "How do you know where I live?" I asked cocking my head. "I went door to door..figured you lived close by..finally found you." He sighed. "Anyways, you dropped your locket at the beach." He said awkwardly handing me back my gold locket. I touched my neck softly only to realize that my necklace wasn't there. "Thank you so much!" I smiled taking it in. "Also, I picked out this seashell and thought it was pretty. I forgot to put it back down on the sand where I found it so..you can keep it." He said handing me the pink and black mini shell. "It's pretty." I said. "Yeah it is. I was looking at it and forgot to put it down.." He repeated..a bit awkward but it was sort of funny. "Sure you don't want it?" I raised an eyebrow and smirked. "Keep it." He smiled before backing away slowly. "See you around." He smiled quickly and started walking off my porch..quickly.
I closed the door behind him and put my necklace over my head and put it down my shirt. I clenched onto the shell and walked back upstairs to my room.
This seashell was so pretty.
